Quarterback

Russell Wilson (TRUST): Wilson has opened the year as efficient as ever, throwing for 11.0 yards per pass attempt in each of the opening two games this season. That has resulted in QB8 (27.1 points) and QB9 (23.3 points) scoring weeks.

Wilson has faced a Mike Zimmer-led defense four times, finishing as the QB3, QB27, QB16, and QB7. That QB7 output (24.5 points) came last year in Week 5, when Wilson completed 20-of-32 passes for 216 yards (6.8 Y/A), but had three touchdown passes and 58 yards. We have not seen Russ really run to start the season (eight carries for 25 yards).

This current version of the Vikings defense has generated a good amount of pressure (20,5%, 13th) and are tied for second in the league with eight sacks, but their pass defense has not held up, allowing 0.67 passing points per attempt (27th), a 77.8% completion rate (32nd), and 10.5 yards per pass attempt (31st).
