In Sunday night’s Showdown, the New York Jets visit the Indianapolis Colts. For a breakdown of this game, check out Rich Hribar’s Fantasy Football Worksheet.

As large favorites, I expect the Rams to be heavily rostered by the field in 4–2 and 5–1 builds. Given the Derrick Henry injury, there is uncertainty over how the Titans' offense will look and where the backfield touches will go between Jeremy McNichols and Adrian Peterson. Julio Jones is projecting quite poorly, but comes at a significant discount to A.J Brown, so I will be interested to see if his star power props up his rostership.

Strategy

If you’ve been reading these regularly, then you probably know the drill by now. Building as if the underdog Titans win offers more leverage than it should, and gives you an easier path to a solo win. For this specific game though, the 4–2 titans build is reasonably popular, projected over 22%. The 5–1 Titans build though is at 1%, and surprisingly the rams 5–1 on slot is under 10%, so both options will help with differentiation. I would not make a 3–3 or 4–2 Rams build without consciously getting contrarian with roster construction, salary usage and correlation.

Cooper Kupp looks to be the most popular player by far, near 23% CPT and 74% overall. Darrell Henderson Jr. is next at CPT (14%) but not necessarily overall (55%). Ryan Tannehill, Matthew Stafford and A.J. Brown are in a close group near 10% CPT and it falls off after that.

I think Tannehill, Stafford, Brown and Jones all make for solid high-upside choices to go overweight on at CPT. Robert Woods makes for an interesting leverage play off of Kupp. I also like them both McNichols and Peterson as flex plays, but I would negatively boost them so they don’t appear too much in lineups together.

DK Values

  • Adrian Peterson ($3000)
  • Chester Rogers ($1800)

DK Leverage

  • Sony Michel ($2800) – Likely does best in a dominant Rams win
  • Any Titans TE – There are three to choose from, spreading out rostership

DK Build Ideas

  • Max 1 DST, Max 1 K
  • Max 2 depth WR/TE/RB
  • Max 1 dart throw group (or 1 per team if MME)
  • Negative boost same team RBs
  • If CPT QB, include one depth option in stack
  • If CPT RB, negative boost opposing DST/K
  • If CPT WR/TE boost team QB and force at least 1 QB (either team)
  • Cumulative ownership under 250%
  • Leave salary unspent

FD Values

  • A.J. Brown ($12000)
  • Van Jefferson Jr. ($8000)

FD Leverage

  • Randy Bullock ($9000) – Priced near better projected and more popular options
  • Any Titans TE

FD Build Ideas

  • No K or TE at MVP
  • Focus on 3-2 build construction
  • No solo CPT in 1-4 construction
  • Negative boost opposing QBs (Lineups with both only win 30%)
  • If WR CPT, boost QB
  • QB is overused but RB and WR are underutilized at MVP
  • Don’t stack 3 pass catchers from the same team
  • Don’t force the max salary
