Kirk Cousins (TRUST): Cousins is coming off just his fourth week outside of the top-12 scorers but will look to quickly rebound against a Detroit defense that is 30th in points allowed per pass attempt (0.50), 29th in touchdown rate (5.5%), 31st in yards allowed per completion (12.8 yards), and 32nd in yards allowed per pass attempt (8.3 yards). The only saving grace for the Lions is they face just 30.9 pass attempts per game, the second-fewest in the league. While volume and pressing the scoreboard can be a potential thorn, the matchup is soft. Even with Cousins only throwing one touchdown pass when these teams met in Week 5, he still averaged 8.1 yards per pass attempt and had 34 attempts. If we can get similar volume here, I’d wager on a better fantasy outcome in the rematch.
