Tua Tagovailoa (TRUST): Tagovailoa faced a strong pass defense for the first time since returning to the lineup and ran into his first bit of trouble. Tagovailoa completed a season-low 54.5% of his passes and threw a pair of interceptions. Our own Dan Pizzuta went deeper under the hood of the issues than went into the struggles last week.
The good news is that any down feeling should be short-lived as Tua and the Dolphins are drawing a Chargers defense that has not lived up to the offseason hype. The Chargers have allowed 7.4 yards per pass attempt (23rd), a 5.3% touchdown rate (29th), and 0.465 passing points per attempt (29th). The Chargers are also 21st in pressure rate (31.2%) and 24th in sack rate (5.5%).
