Quarterback
Brett Rypien: We will enter the week approaching things as if Rypien will draw the start this weekend after Russell Wilson exited last week’s game with a concussion. Wilson has a history of fluffing off potential concussions before, so we will follow his status throughout the week and then adjust as needed toward the end of the week.
Rypien started for Wilson back in Week 7. Tasked with a tough draw against the Jets, Rypien completed 24-of-46 passes for 225 yards (4.9 Y/A) with no touchdowns and an interception. Should he draw another start, Rypien is only playing for those in 2QB formats looking to fill a vacated position.
If that is the case, Arizona is a lighter matchup than his previous start. The Cardinals have allowed 16.5 passing points per game, 29th in the league.
