Quarterback

Lamar Jackson: Jackson posted season lows on Sunday with a 57.9% completion rate and 6.2 yards per pass attempt with zero touchdowns and an interception.

Not much was his own doing as Baltimore pass catchers were credited with a league-high seven dropped passes, the most in a game this season. Rashod Bateman, Nelson Agholor, and Mark Andrews had sure-fire touchdowns go through their grasp.

Sorry doesn’t put fantasy points in our pockets, but Jackson is still having a strong start to the season despite the outcome on Sunday.

He is sixth among all quarterbacks in success rate (47.3%) and ninth in inaccuracy rate (9.1%).

Jackson has been impacted by pressure the most of any quarterback to open the season. His -39.6% completion rate when pressured versus kept clean is the largest differential in the league.

Tennessee is 10th in the league in terms of pressure rate (35.7%), but when they do not get pressure, they have been one of the most exploitable pass defenses in the league.

When failing to get pressure, the Titans are allowing a 78.1% completion rate (29th), 8.3 yards per pass attempt (26th), and a 109.4 rating (28th).

When Jackson has been kept clean, he is completing 79.6% of his passes (third) compared to 40.0% when pressured (29th).

The Titans are 22nd in passing points allowed per pass attempt (0.446), offering a solid matchup for Jackson to rebound as a QB1.
