Trust = spike production for that player
Quarterback
Josh Allen (TRUST): Allen used a flurry of points in the fourth quarter last week to close as the QB2 (27.8 points), his fourth straight game as a QB1 scoring.
Allen was once again superb using play action, connecting on 7-of-8 passes for 119 yards (14.9 Y/A).
Using play action now this season, Allen has a perfect passer rating of 158.3, hitting 34-of-41 passes for 13.9 Y/A with five touchdowns and zero interceptions.
The bummer is that he is using play action just 23.4% of the time, which is 16th in the league.
Without the use of play action, Allen is 22nd in quarterback rating (85.9), passing for 6.2 yards per attempt (21st) with six touchdowns and all five of his interceptions.
As always, when someone is facing the Giants, we always want to see how they handle the blitz.
The Giants are second in the NFL in blitz rate (42.3%)
Allen has been excellent against the blitz, throwing for 8.4 Y/A (fifth in the league) with three touchdowns and zero interceptions.
When teams blitz and do not get pressure, Allen is averaging 8.6 Y/A.
Overall, the Giants are allowing 7.8 yards per pass attempt (26th) and are 24th in passing points allowed per attempt (0.446).
