  • The Bengals have just 14 offensive plays that have gained 15 or more yards, the fewest in the NFL. The next closest team is the Jets with 28.
  • Cincinnati has eight plays of 20 or more yards, also the fewest in the league. The next closest team is the Panthers with 14.
  • San Francisco has allowed the third-fewest plays of 15 or more yards (33) and second-fewest plays of 20 more yards (19).
  • 29.9% of Cincinnati drives have been three plays and then a punt, the highest rate in the league.
  • 78.3% of the San Francisco set of downs result in a new set of downs or a touchdown, second to only the Dolphins (78.6%).
  • The 49ers are averaging 2.7 more yards per play than their opponent on first down, the largest differential in the league.
  • The Bengals are averaging 1.4 fewer yards per play than their opponent on first down, 31st in the league.

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Joe Burrow: We are looking for Burrow to be a different quarterback coming out of the bye.

He started to appear healthier before the bye, but he still was lackluster again in Week 6, throwing for just 185 yards and 5.3 yards per pass attempt.

Burrow has not thrown for 7.0 yards per attempt in any game this season, and his lone QB1 scoring week came against the Cardinals.

Burrow is averaging a league-low 8.4 yards per completed pass and just 3.6 air yards per completed pass, the lowest rate in the league.

On throws 10 yards or further downfield, Burrow is 18-of-56 (32.1%) with one touchdown and four interceptions, the worst quarterback in the league.

We inherently know Burrow is more talented than his on-field production this season and are factoring in his calf injury to a degree, but he still takes a step of faith as a starter in 1QB formats.

The Bengals have a 20-point team total here on the road.

The 49ers are coming off allowing 378 passing yards and 21.0 fantasy points to Kirk Cousins to alleviate concerns, but this is still a defense that has allowed just two passers to score more fantasy points than their average entering the matchup.
