- The Raiders are the last remaining team that has scored fewer points than their implied team total in every game this season.
- The Raiders have turned the ball over on a league-high 22.1% of their possessions.
- Detroit is averaging a league-high 3.45 points per drive after a takeaway (which includes turnover on downs).
- 75.0% (21-of-28) of the Detroit scoring plays have been touchdowns, second in the NFL.
- The Raiders are averaging 3.1 scoring plays per game, 30th in the league.
- 7.6% of the Detroit plays have gained 20 or more yards, fourth in the league.
- 3.2% of the plays against Las Vegas have gained 20 or more yards, the lowest rate in the league.
- Las Vegas is averaging 1.4 fewer yards per rushing play than their opponent, 31st in the league.
- The Raiders are last in the NFL in the rate of runs that fail to gain yardage (24.2%), the rate to gain five or more yards (26.1%), and last in the rate of runs to gain 10 or more yards (4.6%).
Trust = spike production for that player
Quarterback
Jared Goff (TRUST): Goff flatlined last week, throwing for a season-low 5.3 yards per pass attempt and failing to throw a touchdown pass for the first time this season.
He will get a great spot to rebound.
We always perk up when Goff is playing at home.
Since joining the Lions, Goff has thrown 43 touchdowns in the regular season at home, second in the NFL.
The Lions have played three games at home this season, with Goff scoring 22.9, 18.0, and 27.4 fantasy points.
The Raiders are 27th in the league in terms of pressure rate (30.7%).
When Goff has not been pressured, he has completed 74.5% of his passes for 8.1 yards per pass attempt with nine touchdowns and one interception.
When pressured, he has completed 51.4% of his passes for 5.8 Y/A with two touchdowns and three interceptions.
Jimmy Garoppolo: After missing his second game of the season last week, Garoppolo is expected to be back on the field this Monday.
Garoppolo has not produced a QB1 scoring week yet this season and remains an option for 2QB formats and long-play DFS stacks on Showdown Slates.
He once again has been one of the most sensitive passers when facing pressure.
Under pressure, Garoppolo has completed a league-low 35.5% of his passes with zero touchdowns and five interceptions.
Detroit is seventh in the NFL in terms of pressure rate (39.2%).
We questioned last week if Detroit’s early-season success defensively was driven by their schedule and that was proven true against Baltimore.
But Garoppolo fits into the mold of passers that Detroit has slowed down. Against Desmond Ridder, Baker Mayfield, Bryce Young, and Jordan Love, Detroit has allowed 5.9 yards per pass attempt.
Running Back
Jahmyr Gibbs (TRUST): We knew the Lions had to lean on Gibbs for the first time last week, and he cashed in from a fantasy stance.
Gibbs played 65 snaps (86.7%), third among running backs in Week 7.
He handled 20-of-24 backfield touches, rushing 11 times for 68 yards and a 21-yard touchdown, catching 9-of-10 targets for 58 yards in the passing game.
With David Montgomery still out and Craig Reynolds banged up, Gibbs should run into another lofty workload on Monday.
The Raiders are also one of the most giving defenses to backfields, allowing 16.5 rushing points per game (28th) and 8.8 receiving points per game (17th) to running backs.
Josh Jacobs: Jacobs continued to struggle on Sunday against the Bears, rushing 11 times for 35 yards while catching 1-of-4 targets for six yards.
Out of 36 running backs with 50 or more carries this season, Jacobs now ranks:
- 35th in yards per carry (2.9)
- 30th in success rate (31.4%)
- 36th in the rate of runs for 10 or more yards (3.4%)
- 32nd in the rate of runs that fail to gain yardage (23.7%)
This spot does not do him any favors.
Detroit is allowing 3.6 YPC to running backs (seventh) with a 67.3% success rate on those carries (ninth).
Detroit is allowing just 1.03 yards before contact per carry to running backs, which is sixth in the league.
Jacobs has 84.7% of the backfield touches this season to keep him in play as a volume-based RB2, but he needs to find the end zone to access RB1 potential.

Wide Receiver
Amon-Ra St. Brown: Despite the issues that his offense had in terms of generating points, St. Brown was still able to stack opportunities and deliver for fantasy purposes.
St. Brown secured 13-of-19 targets for 102 yards against the Ravens.
St. Brown has a touchdown or 100 yards in every game this season.
When on the field this season, St. Brown has 32.3% of the Detroit targets and has been targeted on 30.3% of his routes run.
He will look to stay hot for fantasy against a Las Vegas defense that has done a decent job at limiting lead wideouts because they do not allow a ton of big passing plays playing passive defense.
They are 12th in points allowed per game (12.5) to WR1 targets, which includes facing Stefon Diggs (7-66-0) and Keenan Allen (3-32-1), but we have seen Kendrick Bourne (10-89-0) and D.J. Moore (8-54-0) stack a high number of receptions in the past two weeks.
St. Brown is a WR1 in all formats but gets a larger boost in full-PPR formats.
