NFL Showdown is not about who you play as much as how you play them.
Median projections are a tool in the toolbox, but they are to be trusted far less than they would be on the main slate. This is because of the large ramifications associated with a single player underproducing or overproducing relative to their projection.
The most likely outcome is only one of infinite outcomes.
When ownership dictates that the field has the game figured out, lean into builds around a different scenario.
The term “any given Sunday” should be the mantra for successfully building Showdown lineups.

Slate Breakdown
The Tennessee Titans are heading to Miami to take on the Dolphins as 13-point underdogs. The total is set at 46.5.
The Dolphins are heavy home favorites, but because of the price disparity, optimizers are including at least three Titans options.
Miami heavy builds may not project the greatest, but they are the likeliest to occur.
The best approach is to use most of the salary to play the Dolphins’ top options. Then, use the last one or two roster spots on unique Titans.
Injury Notes
No injuries of note.
Tennessee Titans Offense
Tier 1 DFS Showdown Plays:
Derrick Henry $9,400 –
Even in a negative game script, Henry is likely to receive roughly 20 touches. He has lost much of his snap share to Tajae Spears, but he’s still receiving more work and producing with his opportunities. He is the easiest to project for the Titans, so he’s likely to be the most popular option Titan to pair with Miami dominant builds.
DeAndre Hopkins $7,600 –
Hopkins is the only other Titan with the type of ceiling that could win the slate, though that would be an incredible feat given he’s sharing the field with Tyreek Hill. His price still makes him enticing. The issue is to be played as captain, he needs to be paired with Will Levis. That would eat up two roster spots that could have otherwise been occupied by the Dolphins. For this reason, he’s better served as a Flex option.
