Quarterback

Jake Browning: Browning was able to squeeze out a QB8 (18.9 points) scoring week on Saturday, his third straight week closing as a QB1 for fantasy.

The run looked in jeopardy as Browning was just 9-of-15 for 81 yards (5.4 Y/A) at the half against Minnesota.

He then connected on 20-of-27 passes for 243 yards (9.0 Y/A) with two touchdowns and an interception after the break.

When these teams played in Week 12, Browing had his lowest-scoring week (QB18) as a starter. He did complete 73.1% of his passes for 8.7 Y/A in that one but only had one touchdown and 227 yards passing.

It has felt like we are on borrowed time with Browning giving us QB1 scoring weeks, and now he could be without Ja’Marr Chase on Sunday.

On the other end, if you are still riding this wave with Browning in 2QB formats and on Saturday DFS, the Steelers will be without both of their starting safeties Minkah Fitzpatrick and Damontae Kazee.

The Steelers have struggled the past two weeks, allowing QB1 weeks to Bailey Zappe (20.9 points) and Gardner Minshew (20.6 points) and three passing touchdowns in each of those games to passers that have not been as good as Browning in recent weeks.
