Chiefs Playoff Scenarios: The Chiefs are locked into the No. 3 seed in the AFC.

The last time that the Chiefs were in this spot was in 2020, and they rested their starters.

They have already announced Patrick Mahomes will sit out the season finale.

Travis Kelce is 16 yards shy of 1,000, so we could see him play and make a quick exit.

And that is where we are with the Chiefs in bulk. Even if their key members do dress and open the game, we are likely working with a partial sample here.

Elimination Alert: The Chargers are eliminated from the postseason.

Since Week 12, the Chargers are 28th in the NFL in total yards per game (283.8) and 30th in yards per play (4.4), ahead of only the Panthers and Jets over that stretch.

While playing against the Kansas City backups could even out the playing field here for the core members of this current offense, there is next to nothing to latch onto here for fantasy.

Austin Ekeler can hit a contract bonus if you need some incentive of your own to keep playing him. He needs 115 yards to get there. He has hit that total three times this season and not since Week 10.

Alex Erickson led this team with a 7-98-0 receiving line last week in Denver if chasing anything through the air.

Quentin Johnston had fewer receptions (three) than both Erickson and Keelan Doss (five) in a game in which both Keenan Allen and Josh Palmer were missing if you want to gauge how their first-round pick is doing.
