The first round of the 2024 NFL Draft is in the books, so let's turn our attention to Day 2.

44 | Raiders | Braden Fiske | DL | FSU |
45 | Saints | Malachi Corley | WR | WKU |
46 | Colts | Ladd McConkey | WR | Georgia |

62 | Ravens | Chris Braswell | EDGE | Alabama |
63 | 49ers | Kamari Lassiter | CB | Georgia |
64 | Chiefs | Patrick Paul | OT | Houston |
- We'll probably see a group of wide receivers come off the board in the second round. Although there are a lot of options, there's a range of skill sets so teams will want to grab their specific target early today.
- Kool Aid-McKinstry and Jer'Zhan Newton both fell because of injuries. I don't think they fall much today, however, because the talent gap between them and other Day 2 prospects makes it work the risk. Ennis Rakestraw Jr. is another with injury questions – if he slides down the board today, that is why.
- Cooper DeJean fell out of the first because not everyone sees him as corner, and there's less value if he's a safety. But he should be off the board early in Round 2.
- Expect offensive tackles to come off the board in Round 2, possibly leaving no one at the position in the third round. Kingsley Suamataia and Roger Rosengarten are likely the most coveted players remaining at the position.

- Expect to see more running backs start coming off the board in the third round. USC's MarShawn Lloyd and Florida State's Trey Benson have the tools to start immediately if they land in the right situation.
- Will the Raiders panic and draft Spencer Rattler? I don't think so. There's a huge gap between him and the quarterbacks who went in Round 1. In fact, I had a higher grade on Aidan O'Connell last year than Rattler this year. Someone without a developmental quarterback on the roster is more likely to take Rattler.
- Tulane's Michael Pratt is the other quarterback who might go today. I don't have him in this mock draft, but it's possible he sneaks in.
