  • The Raiders have scored a touchdown on 11.5% of their drives on the road, 28th in the league.
  • Las Vegas has a league-low 28.6% success rate on rushing plays. The league average is 40.3%.
  • The Raiders have allowed a 64.7% (22-of-34) red zone conversion rate, 27th in the league.
  • The Raiders have trailed for 87.3% of their offensive snaps in the second half of games, the highest rate in the league.
  • The Raiders have run a play trailing by double-digit points in every game this season, and they are the only team to do so.
  • The Raiders average 3 fewer sacks plus takeaways per game than their opponent, the worst differential in the league.
  • Miami is 0-4 against the spread at home this season, one of three times (Tennessee and Dallas) that has not yet covered the spread at home.
  • The Dolphins have converted 55.6% (35-of-63) of their third downs with Tua Tagovailoa on the field compared to a 22.2% (12-of-54) rate with him off the field. That is the difference between first in the league conversion rate and last in the league.

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Tua Tagovailoa: Monday night was on par with what we have gotten out of Tua from a fantasy stance.

He ended the week as QB22 (8.2 points).

Tua has now been a QB1 scorer in just 1 of 5 games this season and 13 of 35 regular-season games under Mike McDaniel.

The peripheral stats were OK again.

Tagovailoa completed 20-of-28 passes (71.4%) for 7.4 Y/A, but he only threw one touchdown pass.

His 3.8% touchdown rate is down from the 5.2% rate in 2022 and the 6.3% rate in 2022 under McDaniel.

We have tried chasing a few good spots for Tua for fantasy but have yet to get there.

We should see some progression on that touchdown rate, but Tua is best used as a floor-based QB2, where we can absorb the spike weeks when they come.

From a DFS perspective, this is another spot to chase.

Miami is a high-total home favorite and is in a good matchup.

The Raiders rank 28th in pressure rate (29.8%) and 24th in passing points allowed per attempt (0.451).

If Tua’s touchdown rate is going to climb, the Raiders are 26th in that department, allowing a 5.4% touchdown rate to opposing passers.

Raiders QB: Coming out of their bye, Antonio Pierce has yet to announce who will start between Desmond Ridder or Gardner Minshew.

For fantasy gamers, both are options for 2QB formats where you are forced to fill a void

Miami has allowed the 2nd-fewest points based on the quarterback (-4.9 points compared to the player average).

They have allowed only two QB1-scoring weeks: Kyler Murray and Josh Allen

Those players are multiple rungs up the ladder compared to the Raider quarterbacks.
