Quarterback
Aaron Rodgers: Rodgers only threw 1 touchdown pass on Sunday, but he posted one of his best games of the season as a passer.
Rodgers threw for a season-high 8.7 yards per pass attempt, throwing for a season-high 339 passing yards.
It was the first 300-yard passing game for Rodgers since Week 14 of the 2021 season.
Rodgers has 10 touchdowns and only one interception over his past six games, posting 17 or more fantasy points in three of those games.
We will not aggressively push Rodgers as a 1QB streamer, but he is a solid floor-based QB2 in this matchup.
The Jaguars are 30th in pressure rate (28.4%).
Without pressure, they have allowed a 73.5% completion rate (24th), 8.3 yards per pass attempt (29th), and a 4.9% touchdown rate (22nd).
In recent weeks, we have seen a few quarterbacks fail against the Jaguars to keep us honest and not get overly aggressive with Rodgers in 1QB leagues.
Sam Darnold (QB25), C.J. Stroud (QB24), and Will Levis (QB24) have all been letdowns as matchup-based options against Jacksonville over their past four games.
However, Rodgers' double stacks could be live in DFS.
Even with those weeks factored in, the Jaguars still allow a league-high 17.6 passing points per game.
Mac Jones: Jones has been QB27 (5.2 points), QB29 (4.2 points), and QB26 (5.1 points) in his three starts, throwing 0 touchdowns and 5 interceptions in those starts.
Jones did have a productive fourth quarter in Week 13, taking over for Trevor Lawrence, but his starts have been abysmal for fantasy production.
Outside of desperation in 2QB formats, Jones is not much of a fantasy option.
As lackluster as the Jets have played defensively to close the season, they still rank 5th in passing points allowed per game (11.5) to quarterbacks.
