Week 15 Prediction: D'Andre Swift Less Than 54.5 Rushing Yards

Swift has less than this total in three straight games.

In his last six games, with the exception of ONE run of 39 yards, he has 83 rushes for 249 yards. 3.0 YPC.

In those games, without that one attempt, he’s averaged:

Week 9: 3.2 YPC
Week 10: 3.7 YPC
Week 11: 2.5 YPC
Week 12: 2.3 YPC
Week 13: 3.5 YPC
Week 14: 2.7 YPC

Those are terrible numbers.

He would need 18 rushes at 3.0 YPC to record more than this 54.5 total, and he hasn’t come close to that mark in any of his games, especially the last three when he’s been dealing with injury.

He popped up with a groin injury against the Vikings in Week 12 and gained just 2.3 YPC with 30 yards total in a 30-27 loss.

Last week, he was on the injury report for a quad injury, and he gained just 38 yards at 2.7 YPC against the 49ers.

He’s once again listed with a groin injury now and didn’t practice on Wednesday.

He likely plays at less than 100% but is once again going up against a strong Vikings run defense.

While I expect the Bears to be more run-heavy than most teams despite the scoreboard, I can’t see Swift topping this number while playing injured unless he breaks a big run, which is not extremely likely.

His longest run in the last three weeks is 12 yards.
