  • The expected run on pass rushers didn't happen in the first round, allowing Donovan Ezeiruaku, Nic Scourton, and others to slide to Day 2. Expect to see the edge rushers fly off the board in the second round.
  • Cornerbacks Will Johnson, Shavon Revel Jr, and Benjamin Morrison are all dealing with injuries but likely would have been first rounders if healthy. They should come off the board on Day 2 and will be steals if health doesn't get in the way of their development.
  • TreVeyon Henderson will be one of the coveted players on Day 2, and I wouldn't be surprised to see someone trade up for him. Although this is a deep class of running backs, his skills as a pass-catcher are more unique relative to the other ball carriers in this class.

  • The third round could be where the quarterbacks like Shedeur Sanders finally come off the board. Clearly, no one thinks Sanders is their long-term solution at quarterback. Otherwise, they would have made a move like the Giants did for Jaxson Dart. Expect to see Tyler Shough and Jalen Milroe land someone in the third round as well.
  • Don't expect to see a ton of running backs fly off the board, despite the talent in this class. Teams are likely to prioritize positions like offensive line and cornerback, where Day 3 options are more scarce. There will be good running backs available in the fourth and fifth rounds.
