Week 11 of the 2020 NFL season kicked off with a thrilling NFC West clash between the Seahawks and Cardinals. This weekend's action has a number of key matchups with playoff implications, but with a Hall of Fame QB on the shelf and at least two teams dealing with COVID-19 outbreaks, there are a lot of key players who could be absent in Week 11.

Joe Mixon has missed the last three games and most likely will miss another game. In his absence Gio Bernard has filled in with 36 carries for 129 yards and another 92 yards receiving.
Cincinnati gets a huge boost this week with the return of LT Jonah Williams, RT Bobby Hart and RG Fred Johnson. All three have missed the last two games and are a welcome sight to a Bengals team having to face a good Washington pass rush. The reserves did a solid job against the Titans but were mauled against the Steelers last week, allowing 19 pressures on 44 drop backs.

LT Geron Christian was put on IR this week and his backup Cornelius Lucas hurt his ankle in their last game against Detroit and is out. Lucas has been an excellent pass blocker, allowing only 3 pressures and 0 sacks on 115 pass block snaps. He has graded out as the 14^th best pass blocker among all NFL tackles. Four year veteran David Sharpe would take over at LT. In limited snaps, Sharpe has allowed a 10.9% pressure rate throughout his career.

The biggest news is that rookie RB Deandre Swift is out with a concussion. Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson will take over the full RB duties.
WR Kenny Golladay will miss his third straight game this week and Danny Amendola has not practiced all week and is likely out as well. That leaves Marvin Jones and Marvin Hall as the main WR targets for Matthew Stafford. Look for rookie Quintez Cephus to step up in the #3 role.

QB Teddy Bridgewater has been vacillating between being able to play or not Sunday. It looks like a gametime decision but if he can’t play look for former Temple Owl and XFL star J. Walker to get the start.
LT Russell Okung will miss another game and CB Donte Jackson is out as well. Jackson has been solid this season for Carolina, grading out in the top half of NFL CBs while ranking 35^th in QB rating allowed and 17^th in YAC per reception. That leaves rookie Troy Pride Jr. filling in as an outside CB opposite Rasul Douglas. Pride has been awful this season, ranking 118^th out of 122 CBs in PFF coverage grade and 120^th in yards per attempt allowed.
Starting RG John Miller is out as well. He ranks 40^th among 90 Guards in pressure rate allowed and is top 48 in both run and pass blocking grades. Veteran Tyler Larsen could potentially take over. He has only played 20 snaps the last two seasons but in 2018 he produced a poor 47.9 pass block grade.

The huge news is the loss of star DE Myles Garrett to Covid-19. Garrett is a leading DPOY candidate and his 40 pressures account for the 37% of the Browns front 7 total pressures, which ranks 2^nd most in the NFL outside of Aaron Donald’s 40%. He’s PFF’s 5^th highest graded pass rusher and is tied for the NFL lead with 10 sacks. Veteran Adrian Clayborn and Porter Gustin will most likely step in. Clayborn has only 5 pressures on 114 pass rush snaps & his 4.4% pressure rate ranks 113th out of 116 edge rushers. Gustin has 7 pressures on 141 pass rush snaps, a 5% rate ranking 111th.
RT Jack Conklin and K Cody Parkey have also been put on the COVID/reserve list but both are expected to play as long as they test negative on Sunday.

The Jags might have an issue at CB with Sidney Jones questionable on Sunday and starter CJ Henderson put on IR. Henderson has struggled in his rookie season but Jones has been by far the Jags best coverage CB. His numbers are odd as he is 10^th in pass coverage grade and 5^th in completion percentage allowed at 48% but is 111^th out of 122 CBs in yards per attempt allowed, dead last in yac per reception allowed and last in yards per reception allowed. He’s the epitome of an all or nothing CB. Tre Herndon and Chris Claybrooks would start outside and J. Hayden in the slot if Jones can’t go. Claybrooks has posted a coverage grade of 61.3 (49^th among CBs), Herndon 45.8 (100^th among CBs) and Hayden 29.5 (122^nd).

A bunch of Titans did not practice Friday and are questionable or out including WR Adam Humphries, CB Adoree’ Jackson C Ben Jones, G Rodger Saffold and OLB Jadaveon Clowney. Jones and Saffold are the big losses with Saffold declared out and Jones questionable. Jones grades out as the 13^th best Center and has not allowed a sack this season. Saffold grades out as the 20^th ranked Guard, 12^th as a run blocker. Saffold ranks in the middle of the pack as a pass blocker. Jamil Douglas has filled in for a few snaps for both players so remains to be seen exactly how the OL will look without these two guys. Douglas has been terrible on only 33 pass block snaps this season, allowing 3 pressures and posting a miniscule 6.8 pass block grade. Last year, Douglas played 390 snaps and graded out as the 70^th best Guard and 103^rd in pass blocking. UFA Aaron Brewer could take over the other spot and he has taken a total of 10 snaps this season.
Clowney is a big loss for this Titans defense which has not been able to put pressure on opposing offenses. Although he hasn’t generated a sack he is 2^nd on the team in pressures with 28. As important against the Ravens, Clowney has been an excellent run defender in his career. He’s 22^nd among 116 edge rushers in run defense grade after posting top 10 run defense grades every single year of his career.

The biggest concerns for Baltimore come with the interior of their DL with both Calais Campbell and Brandon Williams most likely out. Neither has practiced this week. Campbell has been excellent this season, grading out as the 8^th best run defender among NFL DL while posting the 41^st ranked pressure rate. Williams is historically a great run defender but has struggled this season, grading out as the 78^th ranked DL in run defense. Without those guys last week, they allowed the Patriots to run for 4.4 ypc and a 50% success rate.

Joe Flacco gets another start for Sam Darnold on Sunday.
Besides QB, the biggest injury news of the week for the Jets come from their secondary. Starting CB Brian Poole was put on IR and Bless Austin is questionable. The Jets also cut starting CB Pierre Desir, although he played poorly this season. The drop off from Poole to Austin, if he plays, as well as rookie UFA Lamar Jackson and 5^th round rookie Bryce Hall is pretty significant. Poole has been graded as the 8^th best coverage CB in the NFL by PFF. He’s also 11^th in QB rating and 23^rd in YPA allowed. Austin grades out as the 101^st ranked CB out of 122 CBs by PFF. Hall has only played 39 snaps and Jackson ranks 107^th in PFF coverage grade. Jackson has allowed an absurd 87% completion percentage (120^th out of 122 CBs) for 14.2 ypa (122^nd) and a crazy 158.3 QB rating (122^nd).

Quarterback Drew Lock suffered a rib injury on Sunday and may miss a game due to the soreness. He has been limited in practice this week. Lock has struggled in 2020 and Week 10 was no different. He completed less than 50-percent of his 47 passes and threw four interceptions. Lock has recorded a passer rating below 60 in four of his seven starts this season. Brett Rypien could start for Lock on Sunday.
Noah Fant is questionable Sunday and with rookie backup Albert Okwuegbunam out for the season, the TE position is in a bit of flux.

Defensive end Kemoko Turay will be activated off the PUP list this week, over a year after suffering an injury in Week 5 of 2019. Turay had a stellar 91.3 PFF grade at the time of his injury and will be a huge boost to a defense that ranks seventh in pressure rate this season.
Starting defensive end Denico Autry has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list and is expected to miss Sunday’s game. Autry leads the Colts in sacks with 6 this year and is 43^rd in pass rush grade by PFF. Turay would immediately take over.

C Tyler Biadasz has been ruled out and Joe Looney will start. Looney was the original starter and has been a bit better than Biadasz this season so this is an upgrade.
Mike McCarthy said CB Chidobe Awuzie “looked good” in Thursday's practice. “He looks like he's full go. He's had an excellent week. Awuzie been sidelined since a Week 2 hamstring injury. This is important timing with rookie Trevon Diggs put on IR this week. Awuzie is the best coverage CB for Dallas this season and was 2^nd best behind Byron Jones last season.

CB Cameron Dantzler that he was upgraded to a full participant in Friday’s practice, his first full practice since entering the concussion protocol Nov. 8. He's officially listed questionable for Sunday.
Starting Guard Ezra Cleveland is out with an ankle injury for Sunday. Brett Jones in line to start Sunday against Dallas. Jones, the 29-year-old former CFL draft pick, will make his first NFL start since 2018 and his first start at guard since 2017. He’ll be the fourth different Vikings offensive lineman to start at right guard this season, joining Cleveland, Dru Samia and Pat Elflein. Cleveland the rookie out of Boise St has not played well this season, posting a bottom 5 pressure rate allowed for Guards.
TE Irv Smith Jr. missed last week’s game against Chicago and is questionable again this Sunday. Kyle Rudolph will continue to see a majority of the snaps and targets at TE.
