Just about 24 hours after the conclusion, we're already looking ahead at Week 13. After last week's circus of a schedule, we are already looking at a week that replaced Thursday Night Football with a Monday night double-header and a Tuesday night game.
There's a number of veterans and Pro Bowlers who are currently banged up, here's a breakdown of what key players could be absent this weekend and what that means for their team:

DE | Concussion | DNP | DNP | Out |
Injured Reserve: QB Drew Brees, ribs; DT Sheldon Rankins, knee.
- Cornerback Janoris Jenkins suffered a knee injury in the first half on Sunday and has not practiced this week. Jenkins has been excellent this year grading out as the 14th best coverage CB according to PFF and has generated the 6th lowest QB rating allowed among NFL CBs. Patrick Robinson would step up in his place if Jenkins is out. Robinson is graded as the 65th ranked CB, but has allowed the 4th lowest QB rating when thrown to in coverage.
- DL Marcus Davenport suffered a concussion this week in practice and is listed as out for Sunday. He is 13th in pressure rate and has the 5th best run defensive grade among DE. The good news is New Orleans is loaded with depth at DE with Trey Hendrickson fillincg the shoes of Davenport. Hendrickson has produced the 18th best pressure rate and a team leading 10 sacks so that aspect of pass rush won’t be missed. However, Hendrickson is much worse as a run defender, grading 71st out of 116 edge rushers.

- A seemingly weekly endeavor is figuring out if Julio Jones will play this week. He was not able to practice the first couple of days this week but did practice on a limited basis on Friday.
- LG James Carpenter left last week’s game and is out this week. He hasn’t played well this season as he has allowed a 4.7% pressure rate which ranks 53rd among guards. He also grades as the 76th ranked run blocking Guard. His backup will most likely be Justin McCray who has allowed a poor 7.2% pressure rate over his 4 year career.

Injured Reserve: S Malik Hooker, Achilles; WR Parris Campbell, knee; RB Marlon Mack, Achilles.
- The big news is DL DeForest Buckner and Demico Autry are both back this week after missing last week’s game with COVID-19.
- LB Bobby Okereke is out as well as Safety Khari Willis. Willis being out really hurts this coverage unit as he ranks #1 in ypa, #1 in fewest YAC and #5 in QB rating allowed among NFL Safeties while in coverage. 9 year veteran Tavon Wilson would most likely replace Willis. Wilson has only been on 26 coverage snaps so far this season but in his career has posted solid coverage grades. He graded out 30th in the NFL last season among nearly 100 Safeties in PFF coverage grade and 31st overall grade.
- QB Philip Rivers has been limited due to a toe injury but there are no signs that he’d miss Sunday’s game. Center Ryan Kelly and RB Jonathan Taylor who missed last week’s game are both also expected to start this week. Unfortunately, LT Anthony Costanzo will be out. He’s 10th in PFF’s pass block grade among all Tackles. His backup is Le’Raven Clark who has allowed 10 pressures on only 93 pass block snaps. He has also posted poor run block grades as well. Costanzo will certainly be missed.

- Starting RB David Johnson looks to be back from the IR this week and will start after missing three games with a concussion.
- The Texans lost one key member on each side of the ball due to PED tests. Will Fuller is out and is top 10 in the NFL in receiving TDs, has a 30% air yard target share (18th in NFL) & is 14th in yards per route run. Considering Randall Cobb is also on IR and that Kenny Stills was recently cut, the WR position is in flux. Rookie 5th round pick Isaiah Coulter and Keke Coutee will receive the most action.
- CB Bradley Roby is out and is graded as the 19th best coverage CB by PFF. HOU #2 CB is Vernon Hargreaves who grades as the 112th CB out of 119 CBs. #3 CB who will step up to the 2nd slot outside is Philip Gaines who ranks 99th in coverage grade.

- Josh Jacobs and Johnathan Abram and are out for Sunday's game against the Jets. Look for Devontae Booker to start for Jacobs.
- With Abram out, veteran Jeff Heath will get the start and this is not necessarily a bad thing. Abram has graded out as the single worst coverage safety in the NFL this season while Heath is 14th in QB rating allowed.

- G Pat Elflein (shoulder) and T George Fant (knee/ankle) were both limited at Jets practice Friday and are questionable for Sunday. Neither has played well this season.

- DT Danny Shelton and CB Desmond Trufant were both placed on IR this week. Shelton has been awful this year and his calling card has always been run defense but he has graded out as the 108th ranked DL out of 131 DL. Trufant has been equally bad at CB, grading as the 113th ranked CB.
- The biggest injury concerns come from WR Kenny Golladay, RB Deandre Swift and CB Jeff Okudah. All three starters were held out of practice this week and are listed as out.

- DL Akeem Hicks missed last week’s game and his lack of presence was really felt as the Packers scored 41 points and averaged nearly 5 yards per carry. Hicks is 20th among NFL DL in pressure rate and is 2nd on the Bears in sacks with 4. Hicks has been limited this week in practice.
- Khalil Mack (back), Allen Robinson (knee) also limited and questionable. Robinson left Friday’s practice as a precaution and Mack has consistently popped up on the weekly injury reports but has not missed a game. Darnell Mooney (knee) missed practice and is questionable.
- LB Roquan Smith did not practice on Friday because of a non-injury related matter.

- DL Davon Hamilton (knee) will be placed on injured reserve. Hamilton is 3rd on the Jags with 11 pressures.

- Safety Ronnie Harrison is out Sunday and is a big loss for the Browns. He is by far the best coverage Safety on the team (PFF grade of 72.7) and has allowed only 1 receiving TD while in coverage with 4 pass break ups. Filling in will be Karl Joseph who has allowed 5 TDs on 20 targets while in coverage, the highest rate in the NFL. He has a allowed a 128.5 QB rating while in coverage, the worst on the Browns.
- CB Denzel Ward is out as well and is by far the best coverage CB on the Browns. He is graded as the 10th best coverage CB by PFF and has allowed the 3rd lowest YAC per reception. Kevin Johnson and Terrance Mitchell will play outside at CB. They rank 77th and 35th in coverage grade.
- The biggest news is that DE Myles Garrett will be back off from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
- WR KhaDarel Hodge and WR Taywan Taylor have been ruled out and leaves the Browns with only 3 healthy WRs.

- The Titans pass rush has struggled this year, ranking 31st in pressure rate. Jeffery Simmons is Tennessee's highest-graded player according to PFF and is second on the team with three sacks. Simmons is also the Titans best run defender, per PFF. The duo of Matt Dickerson and Teair Tart will split Simmons' snaps if he is inactive. Neither player has a sack this season and the pair has combined for just four quarterback pressures in 92 opportunities.

- Carlos Dunlap has been the Seahawks best pass-rusher since coming over from Cincinnati. The longtime Bengal has six sacks in his four games with Seattle, but could be replaced by Benson Mayowa, who started at defensive end prior to Dunlap's arrival.

- The return of TE Zach Ertz could be a shot in the arm for the Eagles' stagnant offense, although the duo of Dallas Goedert and Richard Rodgers has been the only thing working for the Eagles in recent weeks. Ertz was abysmal prior to injuring his ankle, averaging a career-low 4.0 yards per target and compiling just 178 receiving yards in six games.
- It looks like Fletcher Cox will be okay after not practicing on Wednesday or Thursday due to a neck injury, but CB Darius Slay's calf injury could be troublesome. The former Lion draws the tough matchup of Devante Adams this week.

- The loss of Corey Linsley will be tough against Cox, Malik Jackson and Javon Hargrave. The Eagles boast the top-graded pass rush on PFF and the Packers will counter with Elgton Jenkins. The former second-round pick slid over from left guard to replace Linsley and played well in Week 12, allowing zero quarterback pressures. Jon Runyan Jr. will play left guard for the second-straight week.

- The loss of CB Bryce Callahan will be a huge one for Denver. Callahan has been the Broncos’ best cornerback, starting games on both sides of the defense, as well as the slot. Callahan has allowed a passer rating of 46.9 when targeted this season (best in the NFL) and is PFF’s second-highest graded cornerback. Rookie Essang Bassey will replace Callahan. He had an interception last week.

- Rookie RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire was a late addition to this week's injury report with an illness and is considered questionable. After a tremendous start to his season, Edwards-Helaire has come back down to earth in recent weeks, averaging barely 10 touches per game, 4.25 yards per carry and just 3.8 yards per target in the passing game. Le'Veon Bell would see an increased role if the rookie is out. Bell hasn't been effective since joining Kansas City, averaging just 3.8 yards per carry and catching seven passes in five games.

Injured Reserve: LB Bud Dupree, knee; RB Trey Edmunds, hamstring; LB Devin Bush, knee; T Zach Banner, knee.
- The biggest loss from last week is the season-ending injury to OLB Bud Dupree. He's 25th in the NFL in pressure rate (12%) among edge rushers. He's 2nd on the team in sacks and 3rd in total pressures. Rookie 3rd round pick Alex Hightower will take over for Dupree and has only 4 pressures on 59 pass rush snaps (6.7%) this season.
- The good news for Pittsburgh is that DL Stephon Tuitt is back after being activated from the Covid-19 list. He's 4th among DL in pressure rate this season.
- CB Steven Nelson is doubtful after suffering a knee injury last week. If Nelson can’t play either Cameron Sutton or Justin Laine would start in his place. Sutton has spent most of his snaps in the slot where he has excelled with the 3rd best coverage grade by PFF. Layne is a 2nd year man with only 67 snaps in his career. He is by far the worst coverage CB on the Steelers so will be interesting to see what Pittsburgh decides to do when Washington goes 3 WRs.
- RB James Conner won't play and is still on the Covid-19 list.
- K Chris Boswell is Questionable. If he can't go newly signed Matthew Wright would likely get the nod.

- At WR for the first time in a long while both Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel will be active and on the same field together.
- CB position has been a huge issue for the Niners all season and this week isn't any different. Slot CBs K'Waun Williams and Jamar Taylor are out tonight. They rank 5th and 8th in QB rating allowed and both are in the top 40 in yards per snap allowed while in coverage in the slot. Emmanuel Moseley, the leading candidate to start at nickel cornerback, is officially questionable after limited practices all week. Moseley has only lined up on 25 snaps in the slot this season. He has a coverage grade that ranks 78th out of 119 CBs overall at CB. If Moseley is unable to play, Dontae Johnson and Ahkello Witherspoon are the two options at corner to take his spot. Those two have played a combined 1 snap in the slot this season. Johnson has only played 89 snaps this season and Witherspoon has been a poor coverage CB in his career posting PFF coverage grades of 49.2, 58.3 and 39.8 the last three seasons. The slot position could be an issue against one of the best in the NFL in Cole Beasley.
