Week 14 got off to a wacky start in Minnesota, but the wildest development this week occurred in Detroit, where after their first win, the Lions had a flu outbreak that led to 22 players missing Thursday's practice.
As always, you can check out our Injured Reserve and reserved/COVID-19 list trackers to stay up-to-date on all the non-roster injuries. For the active players, keep scrolling for this week's injury report:

– Randy Gregory is expected to be active this week after suffering a calf injury back in Week 9. The pass rusher is second on the team in quarterback pressures despite playing just seven games.
The Cowboys haven't played with both Gregory and Demarcus Lawrence on the field since Week 1. Washington ranks fourth in the NFL in pass-block win rate this season and Taylor Heinicke ranks in the top-five of completion percentage when pressured.

– Washington already lost Chase Young for the season and Montez Sweat will be inactive for the fifth-straight game after testing positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. Sweat was previously on the IR with a broken jaw suffered in Week 8.
Despite not having either of their top pass-rushers, Washington is on a four-game win streak and hasn't allowed over 21 points in a game since Week 7.
– Tight end Logan Thomas landed on the IR this week after suffering a knee injury against the Raiders. Ricky Seals-Jones is expected to return for the first time since Week 10, although John Bates caught three passes for 46 yards in relief of Thomas on Sunday.
Dallas has allowed the ninth-most yards to opposing tight ends this season.

– Fabian Moreau suffered a hamstring injury last week, but is expected to play against Carolina after full participation in Friday's practice. The cornerback has been the most-targeted member of the Falcons secondary, but has played better in recent weeks, allowing 6.8 yards per target in the last three games.

– The Panthers offensive line has been dreadful this season, ranking 28th in pass-block win rate. Things are even tougher this week with starting guards John Miller and Michael Jordan ruled out and top backup Trent Scott stuck on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Also, starting center Matt Paradis is on the Injured Reserve.
With Cameron Erving expected to return from the IR this week, Carolina can shift Dennis Daley back inside to his natural position at guard. Rookie tackle Brady Christensen will play his first NFL snaps at right guard after being an All American left tackle in college.
There has been a renewed commitment in Carolina to run the football and they've had success against Atlanta in the past, rushing for a season-high 203 yards in Week 8.

– With Marlon Humphrey out for the rest of the season, Tavon Young and Jimmy Smith should split his duties; Young in the slot and Smith on the outside. Throwing a wrench in the plan could be Anthony Averett being inactive, although he was a full participant in Friday's practice, which is a good sign.
– Tyre Phillips should get the start at right tackle with Patrick Mekari out. The 2020 third-round pick previously made a pair of starts at right tackle earlier this season, allowing six pressures on 110 pass-blocking snaps.
It will be a tough matchup for Phillips, going up against Jadeveon Clowney, who beat Mekari for five pressures when these teams played a couple weeks ago.

– Jamal Adams is out for the year after suffering a shoulder injury last week. The high-priced safety ranked in the bottom-five of safeties according to Pro Football Focus's coverage grades.
Ryan Neal will step into the starting lineup after making just five starts in his NFL career. It'll be an interesting adjustment for Neal who has played 91 snaps in the box and just 11 at free safety, whereas Adams' snaps were split pretty evenly between the two spots.
– The Seahawks will also be without right tackle Brandon Shell on Sunday. Pete Carroll told reporters this week that both Jake Curhan and Stone Forsythe could play on Sunday. Forsythe played his first 14 NFL snaps in relief of Shell last week and Curhan has filled that spot earlier this season.

– Tyrod Taylor injured his non-throwing last week and was considered “week-to-week” and it seemed obvious that he'd be out this week given the severity of the injury. However, after announcing Davis Mills as the starter for the rest of the season, David Culley told reporters that Taylor was healthy enough to play this week.
– Brandin Cooks is questionable after popping up on Friday's injury report with a back injury. Cooks previously missed practice time earlier in the week due to non-injury reasons. The receiver hasn't missed a game this season, although he hasn't topped three catches of 45 yards since Week 9.
The Texans' receiving corps is thin with Cooks being the only receiver with more than 20 catches or 250 yards this season.

Shatley excelled as a pass-blocker in his starts and will be in the lineup on Sunday. The eight-year veteran allowed zero sacks and just eight pressures in nearly 250 pass-blocking snaps this year.

However, with Jackson currently on the IR, it looks like Jones will have to make his first start since he was a member of the Vikings.
– Linebacker Zach Cunningham was claimed off waivers from the Texans this week, but Mike Vrabel will hold him out against the Jaguars. Expect Cunningham to be in the rotation starting in Week 15.

– Rookie Deommodore Lenoir should find his way back into the starting lineup after making a pair of strong starts earlier in the season. Emmanuel Moseley is out after suffering an ankle injury last week.
Both Lenoir and Dontae Johnson (who is questionable) rotated in at Moseley’s spot last week and combined to allow six catches on six targets for 62 yards.
– Elijah Mitchell will be out this week, pushing Jeff Wilson and JaMycal Hasty to the top of the depth chart. Hasty hasn't carried the ball more than five times in any game this season and has played just one snap since Week 9. Wilson is averaging just 2.7 yards per carry on 31 rushes.
One guy who could see a few extra carries is Deebo Samuel, provided he is active. Prior to his injury, Samuel had carried the ball 19 times for 181 yards and four touchdowns in his last three games.

The running back returns at an optimal time with the Jets on the docket this week. New York has allowed the most rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs this year as well as the fifth-most receptions. In total, the Jets have surrendered the most fantasy points to running backs this season.

– Another team with running back issues this week is Detroit. The Lions placed Jamaal Williams on the reserve/COVID-19 list and D'Andre Swift remains out due to a shoulder injury. Former XFL standout Godwin Igwebuike has eight-career carries, although he did rip off a 42-yard run against the Steelers earlier this year.
The other running back who could get carries is rookie seventh-round pick Jermar Jefferson. The Oregon State product has 14 career touches and two touchdowns.
– T.J. Hockenson is also expected to be inactive after carrying a “doubtful” designation into the weekend. The Broncos have been the toughest matchup for opposing tight ends, allowing a league-low one touchdown.
Brock Wright is the only healthy tight end on the Lions roster and the rookie should start on Sunday. Wright has caught four passes for 42 yards this season.
– It's also wroth pointing out briefly that the Lions had a flu outbreak this week, leading to a huge absence during practice later in the week. Keep an eye on key players such as Penei Sewell and Halapoulivaati Vaitai who were both affected.

– Star Lotulelei is out again after playing against the Patriots last Monday night. The defensive tackle previously missed four weeks with the same toe injury. The Bills rush defense has struggled in recent weeks, allowing over 200 yards to the Colts and Patriots.
Linebacker A.J. Klein is still on the reserve/COVID-19 list and could miss his second-straight game.

– Richard Sherman was activated off the IR this week and could see some snaps at safety for the first time in his career.
Sherman was signed earlier this season when both starting cornerbacks were on the IR, but now that Sean Murphy-Bunting and Carlton Davis are healthy, there isn’t much room for Sherman in the rotation.
However, safety has become an area of need with Jordan Whitehead nursing a calf injury and Mike Edwards serving a three-game suspension. Andrew Adams, who had played just 20 snaps all season, had to play 58 in the win over Atlanta.

– Justin Fields will return to the starting lineup after missing a pair of games with broken ribs. The rookie did start against the Packers earlier this year, completing 59 percent of his passes for 174 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Overall, Fields has struggled this year, tossing four touchdowns and eight interceptions, earning a QBR of just 25.9.

– Despite the speculation earlier in the week, both David Bakhtiari and Jaire Alexander will remain inactive this week. Yosh Nijman will continue to start at left tackle after his worst performance of the year, allowing five pressures against the Rams.
Kevin King is expected to play for the first time since his abysmal performance in Week 11. King allowed a perfect passer rating when targeted against the Vikings and his 15.2 yards allowed per reception is the highest mark on the team.
