Thursday night's thriller seemed like an appropriate way to kick-off the on-field action of Week 15 after a flurry of transactions led to over 150 players sitting on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday evening.

Week 15 also marks the return of Saturday football with a double-header between four AFC playoff hopefuls.

– The Patriots have been relatively healthy this season, despite listing three players on the COVID-19 list this week. However, none of them factor into the starting lineup.

– One player who won't be active on Saturday night is Damien Harris who was downgraded to “out” on Friday afternoon.

Harris was previously inactive in Week 10 and Rhamondre Stevenson had a career day, rushing for 100 yards on 20 carries. Branden Bolden also factored in to the offense, catching three passes for 38 yards.

– The loss of Dion Dawkins looms large this week, especially with Haasan Reddick and Brian Burns lining up on the edge for Carolina.

Dawkins has been a good pass-blocker this season, allowing just 23 pressures and four sacks all year. Dawkins was replaced by Bobby Hart for a game in Week 9, but Hart struggled, allowing six pressures and two sacks.

Rookie Tommy Doyle is the other option to replace Dawkins. Doyle has played just 15 snaps in his NFL career.

– The Giants are one of the teams most-affected by COVID-19 this week, but the biggest story remains the absence of Daniel Jones. While Mike Glennon is considered the starter, Jake Fromm could see some snaps as well.

Glennon has struggled this year, completing just 53 percent of his passes and tossing four interceptions, although a pair of garbage time TDs last week against the Chargers aided his numbers a bit.

Fromm has yet to play a snap in the NFL and was only acquired by the Giants on December 1st of this year. The Bills drafted him in the fifth round of last year's draft.

– It will be worth monitoring Lamar Jackson's ankle as we get closer to kickoff. The quarterback is considered questionable, but didn't participate in a practice this week after leaving last week's game on a cart.

Tyler Huntley did win his only start of the season, but the Ravens put up just 16 points against a Bears defense that has allowed 33 and 45 points in their last two games. Huntley has completed over 70 percent of his passes in his last two games, but is averaging just 6.2 yards per attempt.
