Week 9 was another week of upsets and whether those upsets were due to some big favorite missing key players is anyone's guess.
However, there are still a ton of question marks revolving around a number of quarterbacks, All-Pros and other key vets for playoff-hopeful teams. Here's where every team stands health-wise as we enter Week 10:
Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals had no problem dispatching the 49ers on Sunday despite both Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins being inactive. While Hopkins is considered “day-to-day” with his hamstring injury, the outlook for Murray isn't as bright.
Kliff Kingsbury told reporters he “doesn't have a feel” for Murray's availability next week against the Panthers. The Cardinals turned to Colt McCoy and he responded by leading them to 31 points, his first 30-point output since exactly 11 years ago.
Elsewhere, Chase Edmonds suffered a high-ankle sprain and will miss multiple games.
Atlanta Falcons
Falcons defensive end Steven Means suffered a knee injury on Sunday, but the injury shouldn't need a long-term recovery.
Means recovered a fumble on Sunday, but hasn't recorded a sack this season despite ranking third on the Falcons in quarterback pressures this season. If he misses time, expect Brandon Copeland to take on a bigger role after rushing the passer 19 times against the Saints.
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens activated tight end Nick Boyle off the IR ahead of their Thursday night game this season. Boyle has been out since Week 9 of last season due to a dislocated knee.
As for the Ravens' Monday injury report, Patrick Mekari (ankle) and Latavius Murray (ankle) were both estimated to be non-participants. Marquise Brown (back) and Sammy Watkins (thigh) were limited.
Buffalo Bills
Zack Moss was placed in concussion protocol after suffering a head injury on Sunday. Despite earning 23 red zone touches, Moss hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 4. Cornerback Taron Johnson is also in concussion protocol.
Dawson Knox is expected to resume practicing this week according to Sean McDermott. Knox broke his hand in Week 6 and has been replaced by Tommy Sweeney since.
Carolina Panthers
The Panthers got Christian McCaffrey back on Sunday, but lost center Matt Paradis for the season to a torn ACL, and left tackle Cam Erving is headed to the IR as well with a calf injury.
Sam Tecklenburg filled in at center for Paradis and Dennis Daley finished Week 9 at left tackle for the Panthers. Pat Elfein could return and help out the interior line after being inactive on Sunday, but the Carolina offensive line has been abysmal all season, even when healthy.
They rank 29th in ESPN's pass-block win rate this season. That's not good enough for a quarterback that's known for seeing ghosts.
Chicago Bears
The Bears lost a heartbreaker on Monday night in Pittsburgh. Allen Robinson came up a bit lame in the fourth quarter and Matt Nagy told reporters that his receiver is dealing with a hamstring injury.
David Montgomery played well in his return, averaging 4.8 yards per carry on 13 rushes. His return meant a diminished role for Khalil Herbert who got just four touches.
Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals lost their primary kick returner for the season on Sunday when Brandon Wilson suffered a torn ACL in the loss to the Browns. Wilson returned a kick for a touchdown in each of the last two seasons and made one start at safety this year.
Expect Darius Phillips to takeover the kick-returning duties for Cincinnati. He started eight games at cornerback for the Bengals last year, but has been used mainly as a punt returner this season.
Cleveland Browns
Cornerback Greedy Williams is day-to-day with a shoulder injury, but both Denzel Ward and Greg Newsome are healthy and will continue to start for the Browns.
Jack Conklin was added to the IR prior to Sunday's game so he will be out at least two more weeks as he recovers from a dislocated elbow. However, he has avoided surgery so far and is expected to return at some point this season.
Blake Hance will remain at right tackle despite his struggles, allowing eight pressures and three quarterback hits in the past two weeks.
Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys expect Michael Gallup to be a full participant in practice this week as he works his way back from the IR. The wide receiver has been on the IR since injuring his calf in the season opener.
Speaking of calf injuries, it will be worth monitoring Dak Prescott's practice participation this week. Despite him saying that his calf injury didn't play a part in his struggles against the Broncos, Prescott played one of his worst games since his rookie season.
Denver Broncos
The Broncos had some bad luck this week with injuries. Most importantly, right guard Graham Glasgow is done for the season after breaking his ankle. He will be replaced by rookie Quinn Meinerz who didn't allow a pressure against Dallas, but earned a 33.7 run-blocking grade on Pro Football Focus.
Elsewhere, Pat Surtain II is dealing with a sprained knee, Drew Lock landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list after testing positive, Bobby Massie will miss a couple games with an ankle injury and Garrett Bolles is expected to miss at least one more game.
Detroit Lions
The Lions enjoyed their bye this week, but did make a little news, releasing wide receiver Tyrell Williams from the IR. Williams was expected to be a huge factor in the Lions' passing attack, but suffered a concussion in Week 1 and hasn't played since.
Green Bay Packers
Big news in Green Bay this week as David Bakhtiari will be activated from the PUP list, although he still isn't a lock to play this week.
Aaron Rodgers's status for next week is also up in the air based on his vaccination status. He can't be taken off the reserve/COVID-19 list until Saturday at the earliest.
Jordan Love managed just one touchdown and 5.59 yards per attempt against the NFL's fifth-worst passing defense in his first-career start.
Houston Texans
The Texans got Tyrod Taylor back this week, but their offense still sputtered, failing to score a touchdown and managing just two field goals in three red zone trips.
Only reserve running back Scottie Phillips suffered an injury on Sunday. He injured his leg on his only carry of the game.
Indianapolis Colts
T.Y. Hilton is still in concussion protocol after missing Thursday night's game. Meanwhile, both Braden Smith (elbow) and Xavier Rhodes (calf) are considered day-to-day.
Rhodes has been dealing with the calf injury all year, but he played just 42 snaps against the Jets before limping off the field. Isaiah Rodgers finished the game playing opposite Rock Ya-Sin.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Trevor Lawrence missed time in the Jaguars upset over the Bills due to an ankle injury. However, he was able to return after missing just one series. Urban Meyer told reporters that he expects the rookie QB to be ready for Week 10.
Meyer was also optimistic about the chances of James Robinson playing next week after missing Sunday's game with a heel injury. With Carlos Hyde leading the way, the Jags struggled to move the ball, averaging less than three yards per carry.
Kansas City Chiefs
With Mike Remmers (knee) inactive, the Chiefs were forced to play Andrew Wylie at right tackle following Lucas Niang's rib injury.
Wylie did allow a sack against the Packers, although Andy Reid didn't sound too concerned about Niang's availability for next week.
Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders have managed to stay pretty healthy in recent weeks, although reserve linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski did suffer an ankle injury on Sunday.
The biggest news in Vegas is the acquisition of DeSean Jackson to replace Henry Ruggs. The 35-year-old left the Rams in pursuit of more playing time and averaged an astounding 27.6 yards per catch in his time with Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Chargers
Ryan Smith tore his ACL against the Eagles and will miss the rest of the season. He had played in just four games all year, but was pressed into starting duty this week with Asante Samuel Jr. (concussion) and Michael Davis (hamstring) inactive.
Brandon Staley told reporters that Samuel Jr. remains in concussion protocol as of Monday. The Chargers finished Sunday's game with Tevaughn Campbell and Kemon Hall at cornerback.
Los Angeles Rams
Quarterback Matthew Stafford tweaked his ankle on Sunday night against the Titans, but it shouldn't affect his availability for Week 10, according to Sean McVay.
An MVP candidate through his first nine games in LA, Stafford would be replaced by John Wolford if he takes a turn for the worse this week.
The Rams' wide receiver depth is also getting thin after Jacob Harris tore his ACL against Tennessee. Tutu Atwell is done for the season after injuring his shoulder last week and Desean Jackson is now in Las Vegas.
Miami Dolphins
Tua Tagovailoa was considered limited in the Dolphins' practice report on Monday after being inactive on Sunday due to a broken left finger. The second-year quarterback has already missed four games this season and is firmly questionable this week simply because of the short turnaround.
Jacoby Brissett had arguably his worst start of the season against Houston, throwing two interceptions and taking four sacks.
Minnesota Vikings
Harrison Smith missed Sunday's game after being added to the reserve/COVID-19 list. He has already been ruled out for next week's game, meaning he is either unvaccinated or is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Either one would result in a mandatory 10-day absence.
Rookie Camryn Bynum got his first career start against Baltimore and played well, recording 11 tackles and an interception. He was by far the Vikings' highest-graded defender on PFF this week, earning a 90.0 defensive grade for his efforts, 27 points higher than any of his teammates.
New England Patriots
The Patriots lost a pair of running backs on Sunday. Both Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson suffered head injuries against the Panthers. However, we are still waiting for updates on both guys.
Brandon Bolden ended up getting eight carries with both guys sidelined, earning 54 yards and adding a 28-yard gain in the passing game.
New Orleans Saints
Michael Thomas will not be activated from the PUP list prior to Wednesday's deadline, ending his 2021 season. He could require an additional operation on his injured ankle.
There are reports Odell Beckham Jr. might want to come to New Orleans, which could be a boost to a passing attack that is without their top receiver and starting quarterback for the rest of the season.
New York Giants
The good times keep rolling in New York as Saquon Barkley is expected to participate in practice this week. However, this is the bye week for the Giants, so he can't return to the playing field until Week 11.
Barkley has been sidelined since Week 5 with an ankle injury and spent time on the reserve/COVID-19 list last week as well.
Left tackle Andrew Thomas is also expected to join practice this week. He's been on the IR since getting hurt in Week 6.
New York Jets
Despite injuring his forearm on Thursday night, Mike White is expected to start for the Jets in Week 10, although Zach Wilson could be close to returning as well.
However, it doesn't sound like the Jets are in a hurry to get the second-overall pick back on the field, especially after White and Josh Johnson ran the offense effectively in the past two games.
Wide receiver Corey Davis is also expected to return after missing two games with a hip injury. Rookie Elijah Moore has broken out with Davis on the sidelines, catching 13 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns since Davis went out.
Philadelphia Eagles
Darius Slay suffered a hamstring injury against the Chargers on Sunday. The veteran cornerback has played well this season, but struggled against Los Angeles, allowing five catches for 86 yards and a touchdown before bowing out in the fourth quarter.
Rookie Zech McPhearson got his first NFL action in Slay's spot, allowing a three-yard completion. There hasn't been an update on Slay's condition yet this week.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Eric Ebron was inactive on Monday night due to a hamstring injury. The tight end missed his second-straight game and rookie Pat Freiermuth has taken advantage, earning seven targets in both contests and scoring two touchdowns against the Bears.
Chase Claypool is also being evaluated for an undisclosed injury that Mike Tomlin didn't feel like discussing after the game.
San Francisco 49ers
Right tackle Mike McGlinchey is out for the season after tearing his quad on Sunday. Nine-year veteran Tom Compton is expected to be his replacement after allowing a sack and four pressures against Arizona.
Unfortunately, McGlinchey isn't the only 49er hurt. Mohamed Sanu suffered a knee sprain and Tavon Wilson is expected to land on the IR after injuring his foot. If Jimmie Ward isn't back to replace Wilson at safety, Tony Jefferson will get the start against the Rams this week.
Seattle Seahawks
After enjoying their bye this week, the Seahawks are expecting both Russell Wilson and Chris Carson to return this week. Wilson has already been cleared by doctors and should be a participant in practice all week leading up their game against the Packers.
As for Carson, he has been sidelined since Week 4 due to a neck injury. However, he is expected to return to the practice field on Wednesday. It isn't a lock that he will play against Green Bay yet.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers also had their bye this week, but Bruce Arians is unsure about the status of Rob Gronkowski (back). The tight end played just six snaps in Week 8 before bowing out due to back spasms. He hadn't played since Week 3 before that action.
As for Antonio Brown, he is still in a walking boot and seems like a longshot to suit up this week. Scotty Miller did return to the practice field on Monday after being designated to return from the IR last week.
Tennessee Titans
The outlook for Derrick Henry is looking grim. According to Adam Schefter, the prospect of the reigning rushing champ returning this season would be “surprising.”
The Titans managed just 194 yards of total offense in their win over the Rams, the lowest total for a victorious team this season. Adrian Peterson got most of the work in the run game, but gained just 21 yards on his 10 carries. Both D'Onta Foreman and Jeremy McNichols were more effective.
Washington Football Team
Montez Sweat suffered a fractured jaw in Week 8 and is expected to miss at least a month while he recovers. After enjoying their bye in Week 9, the Football Team will host Tom Brady and the Buccaneers this week.
Expect Casey Toohill to start at edge rusher with Sweat sidelined. He has four quarterback pressures and one sack this season while playing just 165 defensive snaps.
