2025 NFL Draft Best Bet: Jaxson Dart over 21.5 (-135)

The Pittsburgh Steelers own the 21st pick and need a quarterback.

So we're essentially taking the field over the Steelers on Jaxson Dart‘s landing spot, and it only costs -135.

Selecting a prospect like Dart in the first round would be a desperation move, a mistake the Steelers are unlikely to make so soon after the Kenny Pickett debacle.

Further reason to doubt Pittsburgh's interest in Dart was the team's lack of attendance at Dart's Pro Day.

Pittsburgh has a long history of sending its head coach and general manager to Pro Days for their eventual first-round picks.

However, only the assistant GM and the wide receiver coach went to Ole Miss' pro day.

The fact that the quarterback coach wasn't even in attendance is likely a telling sign.

To be fair, Dart did fly to Pittsburgh for a visit, so the team must have some interest.

But their history tells us he's more likely to be on their radar on Day 2.

2025 NFL Draft Best Bet: Mykel Williams under 15.5 (+115)

Mykel Williams‘ draft stock on public boards has been all over the place, partially due an injury-plagued season in 2024 and partially due to the perception of mediocre testing numbers.

Williams’ 4.77 time in the 40-yard dash at his Pro Day was disappointing, but NFL teams are unlikely to care.

Although he might lack long speed, Williams' 10-yard split of 1.61 was an indication of the desired explosiveness for his position.

Additionally, Williams had plenty of production in 2023, and there's league-wide trust in Kirby Smart‘s program at Georgia.

Three NFC South teams are picking in the first 15 picks: Carolina, New Orleans,  and Atlanta.

All three need a player like Williams.

Williams has the length (34.4-inch arms) that both New Orleans and Atlanta tend to covet.

The 49ers and Cowboys are potential landing spots that would be winners for this bet, as well.

If this number were to rise, double down on the bet because that would put Arizona in play at 16 as another potential winning slot.

2025 NFL Draft Best Bet: Colts to draft an offensive lineman first (+300)

Colts' GM Chris Ballard has a long track record of favoring more experienced prospects with elite athletic traits relative to their position.

Dating back to 2019, nine of the Colts' 12 first and second round picks spent at least four years in college.

Nine of those 12 also produced a Relative Athletic Score of 9.0 or above.

The Colts are widely believed to covet Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, who spent five years at Penn State and might hit the RAS threshold, but he hasn't worked out this offseason.

He's also not likely to be available when the Colts are on the clock.

Indy is also often linked to Michigan tight end Colston Loveland, but he spent just three years in college and also hasn't worked out due to injuries.

If Ballard can't get Warren and doesn't want to gamble on Loveland, an obvious pivot would be to the offensive line.

Right tackle Braden Smith is entering the final year of his contract, and there's an immediate opening at one of the guard spots.

A versatile lineman would fit well.

North Dakota State's Grey Zabel (9.5 RAS, five years in college) and Ohio State's Donovan Jackson (9.0 RAS, four years) meet both criteria and have starting experience at guard and tackle.

LSU's Will Campbell (9.9 RAS, three years) and Missouri's Armand Membou (9.9 RAS, three years) also hit one of the thresholds and could fit in Indy.

2025 NFL Draft Best Bet: Over 8.5 Big Ten players in first round (-180)

Just run through the names of potential first-round picks from the Big Ten, and this one looks fairly obvious.

Let's start with the absolute locks, likely to go in the top 10:

  • Abdul Carter, Penn State
  • Mason Graham, Michigan
  • Tyler Warren, Penn State

Then we have a few others widely believed to be first-round picks, maybe even in the top 20:

  • Colston Loveland, Michigan
  • Will Johnson, Michigan
  • Kenneth Grant, Michigan
  • Josh Conerly, Oregon
  • Derrick Harmon, Oregon

We're already up to eight names, and we've still got more potential first-rounders:

  • Josh Simmons, Ohio State
  • Donovan Jackson, Ohio State
  • Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State
  • TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State
  • Tyleik Williams, Ohio State
  • Aireontae Ersery, Minnesota
  • Femi Oladejo, UCLA

That's 15 realistic first-round picks from the Big Ten, and I didn't even mention a few other long shots such as Iowa's Kaleb Johnson or Ohio State's JT Tuimoloau.
