NFL Week 10 Injury Report For All 32 Teams

Week 10 is here after the Panthers dismantled the Falcons on Thursday Night Football.

But that won't be the story heading into the weekend. Instead, we have an MVP candidate with elbow problems and two starting quarterbacks in the NFC West are banged up and didn't practice on Wednesday.

– Darrell Taylor looks ready to rejoin the team after a two-week absence. The edge rusher is second on the team in sacks, but ranks 10th in pass rush win rate.

Taylor will rotate in with Bruce Irvin who has started the last two games and contributed seven pressures and one sack.

– Antoine Winfield Jr. will return for the first time since suffering a concussion in Week 7. He should start at safety next to Mike Edwards on Sunday.

Geno Smith has been one of the NFL's best downfield passers this season, tossing a league-high nine touchdowns and just one interception on throws travelling more than 20 yards beyond the line of scrimmage.

– Cameron Dantzler is out this week after suffering an ankle injury last Sunday.

Rookie fourth-round pick Akayleb Evans will get his first NFL start after playing 44 snaps in Week 9. Evans broke up one pass and allowed just one completion for negative yards.

Andrew Booth Jr. is also on the roster and healthy, but he has yet to play a defensive snap this season, missing time with a quad injury and playing strictly special teams since getting back.

– The biggest question mark heading into the weekend is the health of Josh Allen. He suffered a UCL injury in his elbow last week and was absent from practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

Earlier in the week, the Bills seemed optimistic this was an injury that just required treatment and he could play through it.

If Allen is inactive, this will be a Case Keenum revenge game as the 10-year veteran will start against one of his six former teams. Keenum had the best year of his career as a Viking, throwing 22 touchdowns and leading Minnesota to the NFC Championship Game.

– Kerby Joseph is considered questionable after working his way through concussion protocol this week. After Sunday's game, Dan Campbell expressed little concern that the rookie would be ready to go against the Bears.

Joseph had a breakout performance last week against the Packers, intercepting two passes and recording 10 tackles on just 47 snaps.

– With Josh Reynolds out last week, Tom Kennedy was the Lions third receiver behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Kalif Raymond. Kennedy had one catch for 16 yards on two targets despite running 19 routes.

– The Bears could be without two starting cornerbacks this weekend with Kindle Vildor already ruled out and Jaylon Johnson listed as questionable.

Rookie Kyler Gordon should continue to start in the slot, although he has been splitting time between the slot and the outside.

Jaylon Jones is the next man up for Vildor and if Johnson is out too, that could leave Lamar Jackson (Not that one) as the final piece to the puzzle.

– Frank Clark will be inactive on Sunday as he serves out the last game of his suspension.

Kansas City used Carlos Dunlap to fill in for Clark against Tennessee last week and the 13-year veteran turned back the clock and recorded 1.5 sacks and two more quarterback pressures

– Mecole Hardman had his best game of the season last week, catching six passes for 79 yards and a touchdown, but will be inactive on Sunday due to an abdomen injury.

Could this be an opportunity for Kadarius Toney? In his first game as a Chief, Toney had two catches for 12 yards while playing nine snaps.

– Denzel Ward looks to be on track to return to the field after missing three games due to a concussion. The two-time Pro Bowler has allowed 18 yards per completion this season on 25 targets.

– David Njoku will miss his second consecutive game with an ankle injury. Prior to the injury, Njoku topped 70 yards four times and had at least five targets in six straight games.

With Njoku out in Week 8, the Browns did not target a tight end once in the passing game. Harrison Bryant ran 11 routes while playing 52 snaps.

– Both of the Texans' top wide receivers are considered questionable heading into the weekend. Brandin Cooks hasn't played since Week 8 and Nico Collins‘ last action came in Week 7.

Against the Eagles on Thursday, Davis Mills targeted Chris Moore and Phillip Dorsett five times each. Moore had four catches, including a 25-yard touchdown. Dorsett finished as the team's leading receiver, catching three passes for 69 yards.

– The Giants were off last week, but that didn’t stop Xavier McKinney from getting injured on an ATV during his vacation. The starting safety will now miss four games while sitting on the non-football injury list.

With fellow safety Tony Jefferson unable to return from the IR until Week 11, Dane Belton and practice squad member Landon Collins are the favorites to fill in for McKinney this week.

– Evan Neal will miss his second consecutive game after suffering an ankle injury back in Week 7.

Former Raven Tyre Phillips has been his replacement so far. Phillips allowed four pressures relief against the Jaguars, but settled down and allowed two pressures in 40 pass-blocking snaps against the Seahawks.

– Starting center Lloyd Cushenberry was added to the IR this week after suffering a groin injury in Week 9.

That elevates Graham Glasgow into the starting lineup. He hasn’t made a start at center since Week 12 of the 2019 season when he was with Detroit. He made all 16 starts at center for the Lions in 2018, allowing just one sack and five quarterback hits.

– The Titans defense will be missing four starters on Sunday with Jeffrey Simmons, Zach Cunningham, Bud Dupree and Amani Hooker all ruled out.

Simmons has been the team's best pass rusher, leading the Titans with 35 pressures and ranking fourth among all defensive linemen in the NFL in Pro Football Focus's pass rushing grade.

– Still, the big story in Nashville is the health of Ryan Tannehill. He's been inactive for two games and Malik Willis hasn't inspired much confidence, completing just 42 percent of his passes and scoring zero touchdowns.

The Titans are optimistic after Tannehill's practice regiment this week and there is a good chance he is back on the field against Denver.

– Michael Thomas will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery to fix a dislocated toe. Since leading the NFL in receiving yards in 2019, Thomas has played just 10 games over the past three seasons.

However, Jarvis Landry is expected to return to the field for the first time since Week 4. Landry had just eight catches for 54 yards in his last three games.

– The Saints will be without starting offensive linemen Andrus Peat and Erik McCoy. Cesar Ruiz filled in for McCoy last week with Calvin Throckmorton sliding into right guard for Ruiz.

– TJ Watt is expected to return from the IR this week and start against the Saints. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year hasn't played since tearing his pectoral muscle in Week 1. Watt also underwent knee surgery while on the IR.

Watt's return could make a huge impact on the Steelers defense, even if he is on a snap count. Pittsburgh currently ranks 30th in pressure rate and 27th in total sacks this season.

– Minkah Fitzpatrick will be inactive this week after undergoing an appendectomy on Saturday following the Steelers' walkthrough practice. Fitzpatrick is expected to miss multiple games.

Demontae Kazee was activated from the IR earlier this week and could start against the Saints. He led the NFL in interceptions with the Saints back in 2018 and made 15 starts for the Cowboys last season.

– The Colts moved Shaquille Leonard to the IR on Saturday, ruling him out for the next four weeks. It's been a lost season for Leonard who has played just 74 snaps this season after undergoing offseason back surgery and dealing with other injuries once he returned in Week 4.

– Deon Jackson's absence could lead to Zack Moss getting some touches in his first game as a Colt. Jonathan Taylor has 258 rushing yards against the Raiders in two career games.

– Ezekiel Elliott is questionable after being limited in practice all week. He sat out the Cowboys game prior to the bye with a knee injury and said he will wear a brace for the rest of the season.

Historically, Elliott has been great against the Packers, averaging 4.86 yards per carry and 112 yards per game against Green Bay in his career.

Or could the Cowboys finally turn the backfield over to Tony Pollard? Pollard has 63 more rushing yards than Elliott this season despite getting 28 less carries.

– Edge rusher Rashan Gary is out for the season after tearing his ACL. Through nine weeks, Gary ranked fifth among edge rushers in quarterback pressures and eighth in pass rush win rate.

Rookie fifth-round pick Kingsley Enagbare will get his first NFL start against the Cowboys. In 75 pass-rushing snaps, Enagbare has six pressures and two sacks.

– The Packers will also be without Romeo Doubs for a while after he was carted off last Sunday with a high ankle sprain.

Allen Lazard led all Packers receivers with 10 targets last week, but Sammy Watkins caught just one of his five targets for nine yards. Rookie seventh-round pick Samori Toure had two catches for 34 yards, but also fumbled.

– Matthew Stafford entered concussion protocol on Wednesday and is currently considered a game-time decision. Given the nature of the NFL's concussion protocol, Sunday morning would be the earliest Stafford can be cleared if he progresses through all the steps.

John Wolford will start if Stafford is inactive. His only career start came against the Cardinals in the final week of 2020. Wolford threw for 231 yards on 38 attempts in an 18-7 win.
