Quarterback

Jimmy Garoppolo: Garoppolo logged his best game of the season in Carolina, finishing as the QB8 (18.1 points). It was his first multi-touchdown game of the season while throwing for a season-high 253 yards.

After throwing for 7.3 yards per attempt in Weeks 2-3, Garoppolo has thrown for 8.9 Y/A and 8.4 Y/A the past two weeks against the Rams and Panthers. Both of those defenses have been better than the Falcons, who are allowing a 68.7% completion rate (28th), 7.2 Y/A (22nd), and 17.2 passing points per game.

It is a light week for quarterback byes that were QB1 options so it is doubtful many teams need to fill a hole in 1QB leagues, but Garoppolo is one of the best matchup-based QB2 options on the board in Week 6.
