Quarterback

Josh Allen: Allen turned in another strong fantasy line in Week 8.

Closing the week as QB2 (29.1 points), he has now been a top-four scorer in four of the past five weeks.

I have been talking about how a change to more 11 personnel and taking Dawson Knox off the field could help Allen, and last week he matched a season-high with 31 completions, completed 77.5% of his passes (his second-highest rate in a game this season), and threw for a pair of touchdowns.

Allen has now thrown multiple touchdowns in five straight games and has a rushing touchdown in five of his past six games.

Allen is a front-end QB1 for fantasy.

He has only played the Bengals and Lou Anarumo once, and it was the only time that Allen has failed to throw a touchdown pass over his past 18 games played.

In that playoff game in the snow, Allen was 25-of-42 (59.5%) for 264 yards, rushing eight times for 26 yards and a touchdown.

The Bengals are giving up splash plays through the air.

They have allowed 7.8 yards per pass attempt (27th), but a 3.6% touchdown rate (14th) and 10 interceptions have them 11th in passing points allowed per pass attempt (0.367).
