Quarterback

Dalk Prescott: After being held out on Sunday night, Prescott was declared a “full go” by Mike McCarthy for this week.

Prior to injury, Prescott hit the bye week coming off 445 passing yards and three touchdowns as Dallas was finally pressed on the scoreboard for the first time since Week 1, forcing Prescott to throw 51 times after 26.8 pass attempts per game Weeks 2-5. That’s the question here against the Broncos. Can Denver push Dallas to stay aggressive?

Prescott has been hyper-efficient with 20 or more fantasy points in every game played but one. Prescott has thrown three or more touchdowns in each of his past four games played, but his 7.4% touchdown rate still should stabilize along the way here, which is why we want the volume to stay as high as possible for when the touchdowns to hit a dry spot.

Denver is allowing just 12.6 passing points per game (third) but have only faced one quarterback currently in the top-12 in points per game on the season (Lamar Jackson) and just two (add Derek Carr) in the top-15 in passing points per pass attempt. Those two passers threw for 316 and 341 yards against the Broncos with 8.5 Y/A and 12.6 Y/A. We want Denver to counterpunch to insulate any efficiency regression, but Prescott bounces back to being a QB1 option
