  • The Broncos have reached the red zone or scored prior on a league-high 52.9% (9-of-17) of their possessions.
  • Miami has reached the red zone or scored prior on 45.6% (10-of-22) of their drives, fourth in the league.

  • Miami has faced a third down on a league-low 30.8% of their set of downs through two weeks. The league average is 47.0%.
  • 50.7% of Tua Tagovailoa's pass attempts have resulted in a first down or touchdown, the highest rate in the league.

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Tua Tagovailoa: A week after pacing all quarterbacks in scoring, Tagovailoa was QB26 (12.3 points) in Week 2 in New England.

The Patriots chose death through the running game, but Tagovailoa was still largely efficient when passing, completing 21-of-30 passes for 249 yards (8.3 Y/A) with a touchdown and an interception.

The Denver pass defense has been one of the worst units to open the year, allowing both Jimmy Garoppolo (15.1 points) and Sam Howell (21.3 points) to have solid fantasy games, allowing that pair of passers to complete 72.3% of their passes (29th) for 7.7 Y/A (26th) and a 6.2% touchdown rate (28th).

Denver will have a much tougher task on the road in Miami for an early kickoff.

Through two weeks, Tua leads all passers in EPA per dropback (0.45) and success rate (54.1%).

He may not have Jaylen Waddle available for this game, but Tagovailoa sits as a QB1 option based on how Denver has let two lesser passers post fringe QB1 scoring weeks to open the season.
