Quarterback
Bo Nix (TRUST): Nix continued to deliver as a high-floor, high-upside fantasy quarterback in Week 11, closing the week as QB4 (28.8 points).
Nix had a Jared Goff-esque passing line of 28-of-33 (84.8%) for a season-high 307 yards and 9.3 yards per pass attempt to go along with 4 touchdowns.
He only averaged 4.2 air yards per throw (27th last week) but was 7-of-8 for 175 yards and a touchdown on throws 10 yards or further downfield.
Nix has now averaged 21.5 fantasy points per game over his past seven games.
His lowest-scoring week over that span is QB17.
From a clean pocket over that stretch, Nix has completed 74.9% of his passes (7th) for 8.2 Y/A (9th) and a 6.3% touchdown rate (7th).
Pressure can still impact him, but that is irrelevant here as Las Vegas is 30th in the league in pressure rate.
The Raiders were 26th out of 28 teams in pressure rate when these teams played in Week 5 (19.4% of Nix’s dropbacks).
From a clean pocket in that game, Nix was 18-of-25 (72%) for 197 yards (7.9 Y/A) with a touchdown.
He ended that week as QB8 (23.1 points).
The Raiders are 25th in passing points allowed per game (14.9).
Gardner Minshew: Minshew bought more time as the starter after completing 30-of-43 (69.8%) passes in Miami for a season-high 282 yards and 2 touchdowns.
He did throw his 9th interception of the season, but the outing was good enough to draw another start.
Minshew was benched during the game when these teams met in Week 5.
Before being yanked, he was 12-of-17 for 137 yards (8.1 Y/A) with a touchdown and 2 interceptions.
Minshew is stuck as a QB2 here because he does not have a QB1 scoring week, but that was the most yards per pass attempt that he has thrown for in a game this season.
Denver is sixth in passing points allowed per attempt (0.348) and seventh in passing points allowed per game (11.4).
