- New Orleans is the only team in the league to have all three of their games go under the game total.
- Just 21.9% of the New Orleans drives have failed to achieve a first down (or touchdown before), third in the league.
- Despite that, the Saints have scored a touchdown on 12.5% (4-of-32) of their drives, 28th in the league.
- New Orleans has punted on 53.1% of their drives, the highest rate in the league.
- The Buccaneers have punted on 45.2% of their drives, 26th in the league.
- The Saints have allowed a touchdown on 8.6% of opponent drives, third in the NFL.
Trust = spike production for that player
Quarterback
Baker Mayfield: After usable starts against the Vikings and Bears, Mayfield’s fantasy bubble burst on Monday Night when he was finally tasked to punch up against a competent defense.
Mayfield completed 15-of-25 passes for 146 yards (5.8 Y/A) with a touchdown and an interception against the Eagles in Week 3.
There is nothing wrong with Mayfield being a matchup-based QB2, but this is another spot that is not objectively endearing.
The Saints are sixth in passing points allowed per attempt (0.256) and sixth in passing points allowed per game (9.5).
New Orleans has not drawn a front-end quarterback to challenge their production to this point, but Mayfield is in the same bucket of options they have faced and been successful against.
