Quarterback
Daniel Jones: Jones delivered on Saturday, completing 30-of-42 passes (71.4%) for 334 yards (8.0 Y/A) with a touchdown and 34 yards rushing. With his QB9 scoring week, Jones has now finished as the QB13 or higher in five of his past seven games. And Jones has only thrown more than one touchdown pass in one of those games (and three times on the season).
Jones is up to 91.7 rushing points this season, which is fifth among quarterbacks and 36.3% of his scoring output. He also has just eight turnovers. The rushing production and reduced negative plays have mitigated the low passing touchdown totals and prevented the floor weeks.
Jones has worked his way into being a high-floor option to close the season that belongs on the QB1/QB2 line. The Colts are on a short week and are circling the drain here. They are in the middle of the pack overall against the pass, allowing 7.1 Y/A (19th), a 4.3% touchdown rate (16th), and 0.433 passing points per attempt (21st).
