  • Jacksonville has won eight consecutive games (also 8-0 ATS) at home against the Colts.
  • The Colts are one of just two remaining teams (the 49ers being the other) to meet their implied team total in every game this season.
  • The Jaguars have allowed opponents to score on 26.8% of drives, third in the NFL. The league average is 36.8%.
  • The Colts have allowed a gain of 20 or more yards on 18.3% of the completed passes against them this season, 30th in the league.
  • Trevor Lawrence has completed just 40.0% (6-of-15) of his passes inside of the red zone, ahead of only Bryce Young (38.9%) and Kenny Pickett (37.5%).

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Trevor Lawrence (TRUST): Lawrence is coming off his best game of the season last week in London against the Bills, completing 25-of-37 passes for 315 yards with a touchdown.

The Jaguars had a pair of rushing scores and Lawrence lost a fumble, so his day did not reward fantasy gamers. Lawrence ended the week as QB16 (15.7 points).

Lawrence has not thrown multiple touchdown passes or finished as a QB1 since Week 1, but that week also came against the Colts.

Lawrence has three straight QB1 scoring weeks in this rivalry.

In those games, Lawrence has completed 82.1% (69-of-84) passes with five touchdowns and an interception.

The Colts are one of the most passive defenses in the league.

They blitz just 18.4% of the time (28th), get pressure on 30.7% of dropbacks (25th), and play man coverage at the league’s lowest rate (9.8%).

Indianapolis is allowing opposing passers to complete 68.5% of their passes (24th) for 7.7 yards per pass attempt (25th), and 11.2 yards per completion (21st).

The one thing saving them is that they have allowed a 2.7% touchdown rate, which is sixth in the league.

With their surrounding peripherals versus the pass, that touchdown rate is set to regress. And even with that fortunate touchdown rate, the Colts are allowing 14.1 passing points per game, which is 19th in the league.
