Quarterback
Sam Howell: Howell continues to get there for fantasy.
Closing Week 9 as QB10 (17.7 points), Howell has been the QB13 or higher in seven of his nine games this season.
He has scored more points than he has averaged entering a week in all but two games this season.
Washington has gone all in throwing the rock.
Howell has 42, 52, and 45 pass attempts over the past three weeks.
Washington is now first in the NFL in dropback rate (71.6%) overall, and first in dropback rate on first down (66.7%).
They also are throwing the ball shorter.
Howell has thrown the ball five or more yards downfield on 53.8% and 48.9% of his passes the past two games, two of his three lowest rates this season.
This will be a quality test for Howell as a fringe QB1 fantasy option, but it is hard to run away from his passing volume creating a usable floor.
Seattle has allowed multiple passing touchdowns in just one of their past five games.
The only quarterback to finish higher than QB17 against them over that span was Josh Dobbs (QB12), who added 10.3 rushing points to his line.
With both Devon Witherspoon and Riq Woolen on the field, Seattle is allowing 6.3 yards per pass attempt and an 82.8 rating. Those ranks would be sixth and eighth in the league over the full season.
