  • The Eagles are 6-1 against the spread on the road, second in the league.
  • Washington is 0-4 against teams with a winning record this season.
  • Philadelphia is 5-1 against teams with a winning record, tied for the league's best record.
  • Washington has allowed 1.54 points per drive at home (3rd) compared to a league-high 2.97 points on the road.
  • Philadelphia averages 97.6 more yards per game than their opponent, which is the best differential in the league.
  • Over their past five games, only 21.6% of the Washington passing plays have gained 10 or more yards, ahead of only the Giants (20.1%) and Jaguars (17.5%).
  • Since their Week 5 bye, the Eagles have allowed 21.3% of the passing plays against them to gain 10 or more yards, the lowest rate in the league.
  • Philadelphia has allowed a league-low 4.2 yards per play over that span.

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts: The Eagles and Hurts delivered what many detractors have questioned.

Hurts was excellent in a drop-back passing game against a front-end defense while Saquon Barkley was held in check.

Hurts completed 25-of-32 (78.1%) passes for 290 yards (9.1 Y/A) with 2 touchdowns against the Steelers.

He added 45 yards and a touchdown on the ground, scoring the most fantasy points allowed by Pittsburgh this season (28.1).

The Eagles' dropback rate through three quarters was 57.3%, their highest rate in a game since Week 3.

After three fringe-QB1 scoring weeks, Hurts has rebounded with QB4 (24.2 points) and QB5 (28.1 points) games to remind everyone he has as much upside as any fantasy quarterback, regardless of the matchup.

You are starting Hurts in all formats where you have him. How you handle him in DFS is the only element in play this weekend.

One of those down weeks was against Washington when these teams played in Week 11.

Hurts was QB13 (18.7 points) that week, failing to throw a touchdown pass.

That was one of just two games this season where he has not thrown a touchdown.

When Hurts was pressured in that game, he was 2-of-7 for 27 yards.

When kept clean, he was 16-of-21 for 194 yards (9.2 Y/A).

The Eagles only had a 39.3% dropback rate in the second half of that game, and the offense lost some added volume due to Barkley posting two long touchdowns on the ground.

I expect Philadelphia to run the ball well again here, which could reduce play volume, but there is a low bar for Hurts to be better in the rematch than in Week 11 when he still posted a respectable point total.

Washington has a better pass defense at home, allowing 6.1 Y/A (3rd) and a 56.3% completion rate (2nd), but they have still allowed a 5.1% touchdown rate (23rd).

Washington is still a pass defense that ranks 28th in passing points allowed per attempt (0.489) and has allowed a 5.6% touchdown rate (31st) when it fails to pressure the opposing quarterback.

Jayden Daniels: After back-to-back down weeks against tough opponents in Weeks 10-11, Daniels has returned with three front-end QB1 scoring weeks, scoring over 20 fantasy points each week.

Daniels has thrown multiple passing touchdowns in each of those games while returning to churning out production with his legs.

He has 13.4, 9.4, and 6.6 rushing points over his past three games.

This is a massive test after a rush against Dallas, Tennessee, and New Orleans.

We have only seen Daniels face two top-10 pass defenses this season.

In those weeks, he was QB21 (8.6 points) and QB25 (13.4 points).

The latter was against the Eagles in Week 11.

In that game, Daniels averaged only 3.6 air yards per attempt, his lowest rate.

He threw the ball 34.4% of the time to wide receivers, his lowest rate in a game.

The two top pass catchers from that game were Austin Ekeler and Zach Ertz.

Ekeler is on injured reserve, and Ertz is not expected to play due to a concussion.

Based on how the first matchup went, we are placing a lot of faith in Kliff Kingsbury.

Daniels can create with his legs, but I am far more nervous about him in this rematch than Hurts.

The Eagles allow 11.4 passing points per game, which is second in the league.

Now, the real question. Would I consider streaming for Daniels in a 1QB league?

It depends on your matchup and how risk-averse you are, but I would choose an option such as Baker Mayfield or Kyler Murray over Daniels outright.

After that, things get sketchy.

This is not a great streaming week.

In most cases, I can’t get to someone like Aaron Rodgers over Daniels unless I already feel like I was a comfortable favorite.
