Quarterback
Jalen Hurts: Hurts took advantage of the Washington secondary again last week, throwing a season-high four touchdown passes to go along with 319 passing yards.
Hurts has now had two games this season with over 20 passing points, with both coming against Washington.
The one thing we were looking for was if his knee injury would prevent him from running, and he only scrambled one time.
For the game, he rushed four times for six yards after he rushed for a season-low 21 yards the week prior.
Just something to keep an eye on because we will want that mobility in this matchup.
Hurts only faced Dallas once last season, but he threw for just 155 yards (his second-fewest in a game last season) for 6.2 Y/A with two touchdowns, adding 39 rushing yards.
Dallas leads the NFL in pressure rate (48.3%).
Hurts had handled pressure well, completing 54.5% of his passes (fifth) for 7.6 yards per pass attempt (fourth) with six touchdowns and two interceptions (92.6 rating), but when he was pressured by Dallas last season, he was 2-of-8 for 32 yards with three sacks.
Hurts has faced one other front-end pass defense in the Jets, who were missing both Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed.
In that game, Hurts had a season-low 9.2 passing points, but his 10.7 rushing points propelled him to a top-five finish.
That is why we want to see his knee be 100% and not a hindrance to his rushing output.
We are not getting away from Hurts as a front-end fantasy option, but if he is not able to run to his full potential, it could impact his ceiling and DFS outcome.
