Rich Hribar has you covered with the best fantasy football rankings for Defense and Special Teams (D/ST) and Kickers (K) based on playoff match-ups.

NFL Playoffs Kicker Rankings
- Harrison Butker
- Justin Tucker
- Robbie Gould
- Wil Lutz
- Mason Crosby
- Nick Folk
- Jason Meyers
- Ka’imi Fairbairn
- Stephen Hauschka
- Dan Bailey
- Jake Elliott
- Greg Joseph

Harrison Butker, Wil Lutz, and Justin Tucker were the three highest-scoring fantasy kickers on the season. If you have limited transactions, taking Lutz from the jump is likely your best play. If you have to take zero points down the line, kicker or team defense are the preferred options if backed into that corner.
Robbie Gould missed time this season, but he was sixth in points per game (8.5), right behind Tucker. Nick Folk averaged 8.0 fantasy points per game, which was dead on with that Stephen Gostkowski was averaging through four games.
NFL Playoffs Defense/Special Teams Rankings
- Ravens
- 49ers
- Chiefs
- Patriots
- Saints
- Packers
- Seahawks
- Bills
- Titans
- Texans
- Vikings
- Eagles
As is the case with Lutz, your best option is to start with the Patriots defense if you have overlap in positions and limited transactions. In that scenario, you’re starting off with the highest-scoring DST this season (14.0 points per game). Two games from the Patriots defense could potentially enough to pace three games from anyone else. The rest is par for the course when targeting a team defense. In leagues that have limited moves, taking a zero here in the opening round is also not the worst approach if you want to attempt to gain long-term leverage over those teams taking the Patriots out of the gates.
