Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Justin Herbert: Herbert has been a QB1 in three straight weeks for the first time all season. Last week, the Chargers finally did what we have been clamoring for, attacking the defense downfield on early downs. Herbert's average depth of target on first and second down last week was 10.2 yards, first in the league after he ranked 32nd prior (6.2 yards). We will see how sticky that is moving forward, but it was a welcome change with the results we believed existed should they attack defenses on early downs.

Herbert may not have Keenan Allen available here this week due to being placed on the COVID-IR. Allen played 24 or fewer snaps or missed the game outright four times last year and in those games, Herbert was a top-six scorer three times with 10 touchdown passes to zero interceptions.

It is hard to treat Herbert as anything other than a fantasy QB1 option. The Giants have been respectable against the pass, allowing 6.6 yards per attempt (sixth), a 4.4% touchdown rate (14th), and 0.38 points per attempt (sixth). They have allowed just one passer (Matthew Stafford) to finish inside of the top-10 against them but has allowed lower-end QB1 scoring weeks to Tom Brady (19.3 points) and Tua Tagovailoa (17.9 points) in two of their past three games.
