Trust = spike production for that player
Quarterback
Daniel Jones: Jones only passed for 176 yards on Sunday, but by completing a season-high 76.9% of his passes (20-of-26) with 2 touchdowns while adding 54 yards and a rushing touchdown he was QB3 (24.4 points) on the week.
Jones now has four QB1 scoring weeks and 5 weeks as the QB24 or lower.
There has been no middle ground to Jones as a boom-or-bust QB2, but if you are playing for a positive outcome, this is as good of a matchup as you will get.
The Panthers allow the most passing points per attempt (0.572) in the league.
Carolina is dead last in the NFL in pressure rate (22.4%).
When Jones has been pressured, he has completed 46.3% of his passes (24th) for 4.9 yards per pass attempt (30th).
When kept clean, he only averages 6.8 Y/A (27th) but completes 71.8% of those throws (17th).
Panthers QB: Dave Canales was noncommittal on naming a starter to open the week.
Bryce Young closed last week as QB27 (9.7 points) and has not finished higher than QB23 in any start this season.
Andy Dalton gave us one good start when he initially took over for Young in Week 3, but he then threw for 5.8 Y/A or less in each of his next four starts with 6 interceptions.
Whether we get Young or Dalton, the starter here is only a real option for 2QB gamers filling a vacated roster spot.
The Giants are not a scary matchup if you are in that position.
They allow 7.8 Y/A (27th) and are 26th in passing points allowed per attempt (0.487).
