Bust = down-week production for that player’s standards
Quarterback
Joe Burrow: Burrow has kicked off the season with QB17, QB25, and QB15 scoring weeks. While the scores have not pushed top-shelf performances, there are a number of positives to take away from Burrow’s start. He has thrown multiple touchdown passes in each game and has thrown for 9.7 yards and 9.6 yards per pass attempt in Week 1 and Week 3. The Bengals have toned down their aggressiveness throwing the football as Burrow has 30 or fewer pass attempts in all three games after he threw 30 or more times in all of his starts as a rookie.
Needing to pass for efficiency versus the Jaguars should not be a high hurdle if volume is low once again due to game script. Jacksonville is allowing 0.51 passing points per attempt (22nd), a 74.3% completion rate (30th), 9.3 yards per pass attempt (30th), and 12.5 yards per completion (26th). Burrow is one of the top streamers on the board and in the best spot to turn in his first QB1 scoring week.
