- 45.1% of the drives for Detroit reach the red zone or have scored prior, fourth in the league.

Quarterback
Jared Goff (TRUST): Goff is coming off one of the most bizarre games by a quarterback.
He threw a career-high 5 interceptions on Sunday night after throwing four on the season entering the night.
Goff completed only 50% of his throws, his lowest rate since joining the Lions.
He still threw 2 touchdown passes and averaged 8.0 yards per pass attempt, and the Lions completed a comeback win despite all of the turnovers and inefficiency.
After a stretch of the season in which Goff had three straight QB1 scoring weeks, he has finished his past three games as QB18, QB28, and QB23.
The Jaguars have been the cure for most quarterback blues this season.
Jacksonville is 28th in passing points allowed per attempt (0.512) and 30th in passing points allowed per game (17.5).
That is with slowing down Sam Darnold last week factored in.
Darnold was the first starter to finish a game against the Jaguars and score fewer points than their seasonal average entering the matchup.
There is some concern here that Goff needs help to stack much volume, forcing him to be efficient in throwing touchdowns while Detroit stacks their points.
Detroit has a 47.3% dropback rate when leading (23rd).
However, Detroit is at home with the highest team total of the week and faces one of the league’s worst pass defenses, so let’s not overthink this one.
Mac Jones: Making his first start with the Jaguars, Jones completed 14-of-22 passes for 111 yards (5.0 Y/A) with 2 interceptions against Minnesota.
He did sneak in a touchdown on the ground, but Jones ended the week as QB27 (5.2 points).
There are better spots to chase Jones as more than a desperation QB2.
Jacksonville is a massive road underdog against a Detroit defense that has allowed the fewest passing points per attempt (0.306).
The Lions have yet to allow multiple passing touchdowns in a game this season.
