Playoff Scenario: It is laid out cleanly for the Jaguars.
Win here (or a tie plus a Colts tie) and they win the AFC South and secure the No. 4 seed in the AFC.
The Jaguars can also still make the postseason if they lose here.
If they lose, they will need the Steelers and Broncos to lose and the Indianapolis and Houston matchup to not end up in a tie.
Elimination Alert: The Titans have been eliminated from the postseason.
While I surely do not expect to see a Mike Vrabel-led team lay down and die at home, this is a team down multiple starters everywhere. They are short-handed on defense and have long had one of the worst offenses in the league.
Quarterback
Trevor Lawrence: We will enter the week expecting Lawrence to attempt to play through a shoulder injury that forced him to miss his first career game last weekend.
If we do get C.J. Beathard again, things will get interesting.
Lawrence will be a boom-or-bust fantasy option if he can play.
He has been rough the last three times we have seen him on the field.
Lawrence has played through multiple injuries and has faced the Browns and Ravens over that span, but he has completed fewer than 60% of his throws in all three games.
His 19.7% inaccurate target rate in Weeks 14-16 was ahead of only Trevor Siemian (20.0%).
Playing through a shoulder injury does not inspire confidence.
If you can fight through that issue and are hunting for a path to the upside for fantasy, Lawrence was the QB1 overall in weekly scoring (32.2 points) when these teams last played in Week 11.
Titans QBs: Will Levis aggravated his ankle injury last week and was forced from the game. I would bet against seeing him on Sunday.
That could lead to the Titans giving Ryan Tannehill one final start at home in Tennessee, but there is no reason for a team eliminated from the postseason to start Tannehill, an unrestricted free agent, and not Malik Willis if Levis cannot play.
Either way, we are not entertaining any Tennessee quarterback as more than a Hail Mary for fantasy.
