Motivation or Rest Alert
The Bills cannot get to the No. 1 seed, but they can win the AFC East with a win here against a Jets team that they defeated 45-17 back in Week 10. If the Bills do rest any core players, it will be due to them having this game well in hand, which means those players played well.
The Jets are eliminated from the postseason.
Quarterback
Josh Allen: Allen is set up to close down his second straight season leading all quarterbacks in scoring and points per game. The last time a quarterback was the QB1 in overall scoring in back-to-back seasons was Drew Brees in 2011-2012 and the last time a passer was the QB1 in points per game in consecutive seasons was Daunte Culpepper in 2003-2004.
Allen will have a tremendous spot to do so against a Jets defense that is 29th in passing points allowed per game (16.4). When these teams met in Week 10, Allen threw for a season-high 13.1 yards per pass attempt with 20.9 fantasy points.
