  • Broncos games are averaging a combined 37.9 points, the fewest in the league.
  • The Broncos are 24th in points per play over the past three weeks (.269).
  • The Lions are 29th in the league in red zone plays (81) and 32nd in plays inside of the 10-yard line (34) and inside of the five-yard line (nine).
  • Denver is allowing 6.4 red zone plays per game, the fewest in the league.

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Teddy Bridgewater: Bridgewater is coming off one of his worst games of the season, completing 55.0% of his passes for 6.4 yards with two interceptions against the Chiefs. Bridgewater has now thrown one or fewer touchdown passes in in each of his past five games.

The good news is that Teddy and this struggling passing game now get to face a Detroit defense that is 29th in the league points allowed per pass attempt (0.50) while allowing a league-high 8.3 yards per pass attempt.

The potential problem here is that we have seen when the Broncos control game scripts, they have minimal interest in pushing the ball through the air much. Bridgewater has thrown the ball 28 or fewer times in each of the past four Denver wins. Bridgewater is a floor-based option in 2QB formats based on matchup, but there are volume concerns as a 1QB streamer.
