Happy Holidays!

15 weeks down. The fantasy playoffs are still in high gear.

If you are still fighting to make a fantasy championship, congratulations, and good luck! If injuries or misfortune have working against you this season, there is still DFS action to get into and make the most of the remainder of the season.

Last week was another reminder that every fantasy football season is not only different but there is a clean slate when the fantasy playoffs are here.

A lot of what was static for the season to this point was upended last weekend.

We had another week where the field at the quarterback position was wide open and offered spike-week outcomes, which always can shake up the outcomes for fantasy on a given week.

We also had a plethora of injuries to deal with.

Gamers who had relied on a historic Tyreek Hill season lost their anchor. Players that ran hot with Houston Texan value picks or were riding the fantasy streak that the Dallas offense was on were forced to find point elsewhere.

Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, Bijan Robinson, and Austin Ekeler were no-shows for gamers who sank early-round capital into those options.

Josh Jacobs did not play.

Did you need a big game from Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase, or  A.J. Brown? We did not get them.

Those who have been riding high with 49ers assets remained strong, but even that is something that can be challenged this week as we close Christmas night with a stellar matchup of San Francisco hosting Baltimore.

Week 16 is another unique week working around the holidays.

With Christmas falling on Monday this year, the NFL is taking advantage of maxing out this opportunity to have multiple games over three days.

We have our regular Thursday night game, but then we also have a two-game slate on Saturday, 10 games on Sunday, and another three games on Monday spread out throughout the holiday.

Adjust accordingly and follow news throughout the holiday weekend for inactives orbiting each lineup lock.

This article will be updated throughout the week to reflect major news or injury implications.

I encourage you to use the game-by-game tables and data points here in conjunction with the player rankings that will be available each Wednesday and enjoy the games.
