Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Kyler Murray (TRUST): This season has been an up-and-down ride with Murray.

He has five top-10 scoring weeks and another five weeks as QB21 or lower.

To be fair to Murray (since we have written him up all season long), it has been a while since he has drawn a favorable outlook on the surface.

Since Week 5, he has faced the 49ers, Packers, Chargers, Dolphins, Bears, Jets, Seahawks (x2), and Vikings.

He also faced the Bills and Lions in two of his opening four games.

Not one of those teams is in the back half of the league in passing points allowed per attempt.

The Patriots are 27th in that department (0.490 points per attempt).

New England is 24th in passing points allowed per game (15.1) and has allowed a top-10 scorer in three straight games to Matthew Stafford (27.8 points), Tua Tagovailoa (28.5 points), and Anthony Richardson (21.2 points).

New England has allowed multiple passing touchdowns in five of their past six games.

We are backing Murray as a home favorite against the softest pass defense he has played since the beginning of the year.

The only potential roadblock here is if the Patriots do not provide any push since Arizona has often grounded the ball with the lead.

When ahead on the scoreboard, Arizona's dropback rate is 46.4%, which is 27th in the league.

Drake Maye: Maye comes out the bye week averaging 16.9 fantasy points per game in his seven complete games this season.

That checks in as QB15 and is just ahead of Patrick Mahomes (16.7 per game).

Maye has not produced many elite weeks (one week higher than QB12), but he has rarely bricked since taking the job, finishing in the back half of weekly scoring just twice.

He has been a reliable QB2.

This is not a glowing spot with a lot of upside potential, so Maye will remain in that area this week.

Maye is a large underdog on the road again against an Arizona defense that has played a “bend but don’t break” pass defense.

Arizona has allowed a 69.4% completion percentage (29th) and 7.4 yards per pass attempt (22nd) but only a 3.6% touchdown rate (9th).

They have allowed multiple passing touchdowns twice over their past 10 games.

They have allowed a league-low 1.8% touchdown rate at home this season.
