Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Nick Mullens: With both Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum out due to COVID this weekend, Mullens will get the call on Saturday. If having to turn to an emergency option, you could do worse than a player with 16 career starts that has completed 64.5% of his passes for 7.9 yards per pass attempt with 25 touchdowns. Mullens has five career QB1 scoring weeks, including his first ever career start, which ironically came pressed into action against the Raiders in 2018 (we just need George Kittle now).

There is still a lot working against Mullens this weekend on short notice. The obvious is that the Browns are still working with a skeleton crew offensively due to COVID with Jarvis Landry, Jedrick Wills and Wyatt Teller as big pieces absent. The second is that Mullens was absolutely brutal this preseason with the Eagles, completing 16-of-29 passes (55.2%) for 129 yards (4.4 Y/A) with no touchdowns and three interceptions.

The Raiders are allowing 16.8 passing points per game (28th) to keep the lights on for anyone looking to patch an empty roster spot, but Mullens is largely only an option for 2QB gamers filling a hole at the position.
