With Kirk Cousins out, the Packers are nearly two TD favorites at home and their players should dominate rostership. There will probably be a disproportionate percentage of 5–1 and 4–2 Packers lineups. For easy differentiation, you can build with any Minnesota CPT or use four or more Viking players.

Strategy

5–1 Packers onslaughts are expected to be utilized 34%, while the Vikings version is <1%. Builds with four Packers could approach 42% and lineups with four Vikings are <4%. Builds with three of each team are just under 20%, which seems like a good starting point for differentiation.

Davante Adams should lead at CPT between 20-24% and overall 66–88%. Aaron Rodgers is next in the 13-15% range. A group of five is clustered near 10% expected rostership at CPT: Aaron Jones, Dalvin Cook, AJ Dylan, Justin Jefferson, and potentially the Packers DST. Using anyone else in the CPT slot will greatly differentiate you, but I also think all of these choices are viable and you can create unique lineups by differentiating in the flex spots.

if Jefferson does well enough to be in the optimal at his salary, it is likely that Sean Mannion does better than expected and you can roster him at significantly lower ownership. The Packers DST should correlate well with Dillon having a strong game as well. One last thing for consideration is the fantastic leverage in using any packers WR/TE instead of Adams.

  • No K or TE at MVP

  • Negative boost opposing QBs (Lineups with both only win 30%)
  • If WR CPT, boost QB
  • QB is overused but RB and WR are underutilized at MVP
  • Don’t stack 3 pass catchers from the same team
  • Don’t force the max salary
