  • The Titans are a league-worst 1-7 against the spread this season.
  • Tennessee games average a league-low 565.5 combined yards per game.
  • The Chargers allow a league-low 1.10 points per drive.
  • The Chargers are second in the NFL in EPA as a pass defense (36.8) and first in EPA as a run defense (40.9).
  • Since their Week 5 bye, the Chargers have been second in the NFL in passing plays of 20 or more yards (19).
  • Over their first four games of the season, the Chargers had six passing plays of 20 or more yards, ahead of only the Patriots.
  • The Titans have been outscored 53-125 (-72 points) in the second half this season, the largest margin in the league.
  • The Chargers have turned the ball over on a league-low 3.3% of their possessions.
  • The Titans have turned the ball over on 17.7% of their possessions, ahead of only the Raiders (18.3%).

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Justin Herbert: Herbert and this passing game stayed hot on Sunday.

He ended the week QB11 (19.5 points), connecting on 18-of-27 passes for 282 yards and a season-high 10.4 yards per pass attempt.

Herbert also added 2 touchdowns through the air.

Since the Week 5 bye, Herbert has thrown for 286.8 yards per game (third in the league).

He has thrown for more than 8.0 Y/A in three straight games and has multiple passing touchdowns in back-to-back games for the first time this season.

More importantly, Herbert averages 38.3 dropbacks per game over that span, eighth in the league.

The Chargers' pass rate was 3% above expectations in those games after being 10% below expectations before their bye.

This has given Herbert new life for fantasy.

I still prefer to use him as a QB2 here since he has run hot in the efficiency department over his early-season production and has only posted two back-end QB1 scoring weeks.

Tennessee has been stingy on defense in their own right.

The Titans are 11th in passing points allowed per game (11.9) and have allowed a league-low 5.9 Y/A.

They have faced a light schedule, but even Jared Goff had only 5.7 Y/A in this matchup two weeks ago.

Herbert will have a chance to keep throwing touchdowns, though.

The Titans have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in three of their past four games.

Titans QB: We will have to wait and see if we get another week of Mason Rudolph or if Will Levis is ready to return to the lineup.

Regardless of which passer gets the nod, that player will be a QB2 for needy gamers.

We prefer it to be Rudolph, who has given gamers back-to-back usable weeks at QB14 (19.5 points) and QB18 (17.5 points).

Those are the two highest-scoring weeks for a Tennessee quarterback this season.

The Chargers have not faced a hard schedule, but they have not let any of these streamers breathe, either.

Los Angeles is second in passing points allowed per attempt (0.294).

The only QB1 scorer they have allowed is Kyler Murray, who had 12.4 rushing points.
