Quarterback
Mason Rudolph: Taking back over the starter, Rudolph ended Week 16 as QB20 (14.4 points).
Rudolph has not set the fantasy world on fire but has provided usable 2QB outings when he has played.
He has had multiple passing touchdowns in his past three appearances along with a passing and rushing score in his Week 8 start in Detroit.
Rudolph is a floor-based QB2.
His actual fantasy value comes from adding stability to the Tennessee pass catchers.
Jacksonville is not a defense we are avoiding by any means based on their entire body of work, but we have seen over the back half of the season that not everyone can walk into fantasy points against them.
They have allowed top-five scoring weeks to Jalen Hurts, Jared Goff, and Aaron Rodgers since Week 9 but also QB20 weeks or lower to Sam Darnold, C.J. Stroud, Will Levis, and Aidan O’Connell.
Mac Jones: Jones has made five starts with Jacksonville, closing those weeks as QB27, QB29, QB26, QB9, and QB21.
That includes going 23-of-31 for 220 yards (7.1 Y/A) with no touchdowns and 2 interceptions when these teams played in Week 14.
The bar for this game to be higher-scoring than the first matchup between these teams is low, but Jones is stuck as a back-end QB2.
