Trust = spike production for that player
Quarterback
Kirk Cousins: After throwing an interception on the opening drive of the game, Cousins was excellent on Monday Night against the 49ers, completing 35-of-45 passes for 378 yards with two touchdowns the rest of the way out.
One of those touchdowns was a 60-yard score that could have just as easily been an interception, but the box score was stuffed in the end. It was a season-high 8.4 yards per pass attempt.
Cousins has been everywhere this past month, ending weeks as the QB23, QB9, QB24, and QB7.
His two down weeks for fantasy came against the Panthers and Bears while the spike weeks came against the Chiefs and 49ers, so I don’t know what to tell you other than just keep going to Cousins as a volatile option and let the fantasy gods take the wheel.
I do prefer Cousins as a QB2 this week over forcing him out in 1QB leagues despite Monday’s success.
The Packers have not allowed multiple passing touchdowns in any game yet this season. The highest weekly scorer they have allowed was a QB12 week to Desmond Ridder, who added 9.9 rushing points to his line that week.
Green Bay has not faced a daunting rogue’s gallery of passers to this stage, but each of the past four starters they have faced have scored fewer points than they had averaged entering the matchup.
